I've used Gyft.com quite often in the past and always had great experiences. You can use your Bitcoin to buy gift cards from dozens of retailers and you usually get the gift cards instantly after sending your BTC. In the past when I needed gas for my car and didn't have my debit card or any Fiat money on me, I used Gyft to buy Walmart gift cards with BTC and was able to fill my car up at Walmart gas stations. And as far as I know this is one of the only ways to buy gasoline with BTC in the US.
Gyft even has an App for mobile devices that is pretty convenient too.

However, if you will use it to buy somthings that will give your money back such as franchising or making your own business will be better. You are right. Intuitions have taken off which has some how encouraged merchants to also consider accepting crypto payment. I know of some store that uses NOWPayments merchants tools to allow customers to spend crypto in their online stores.

There are so many websites available in the Market which accept Bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a payment method you can do Mobile recharge, buying shopping voucher,booking hotel,air ticket even recently binance has acquire a company which accept bnb coin as a payment method but my favorite website is bitrefill because this website works worldwide

As far I know there pretty good services from which you can exchange BTC or any crypto for goods. For buy goods, go to overstep and you will find many physical products to buy through BTC, there are subscriptions of many vpn like express, hma to buy with BTC. Apart from it, you can also buy domains from namecheap through btc. and list goes on.
