Can anyone recommend me a safe place to store my bitcoins?

I found something perfect for you, but only if you have no problem handing over your BTC to someone else for safekeeping. I am more for the "my keys, my coins" approach, which is the only correct way - if a nuclear war breaks out, it doesn’t matter where the BTCs are, in the underground bunker, or in the hardware wallet.

I'd go for Trezor's most recent hardware wallet. Because I'm now having an OLED screen issue with the Ledger Nano S that I purchased less than a year ago; the screen is steadily fading/dimming, making it impossible to see what is being displayed. You must use your phone camera to view it clearly, which is inconvenient while inputting your pin number or signing a transaction.

I'm not sure if this issue actually exists in Trezor, however there are a lot of technical issues with Ledger products these days.

Probably a rare product QA issue, as I've own Ledger devices since 2016/2017 and I've never had a single problem with the screen or the device in general besides some minor issues with Ledger Live software.

Really nothing will be 100% secure, your bitcoin's safety will depend on how you take care of it. But first, you should choose good quality products so that the place to store is using a hardware wallet instead of a software wallet.

Personally, I would recommend the Trezor hardware wallet as I'm using it to store most of my Bitcoin, plus the Ledger is also a hardware wallet that's well worth using.

It's not enough to store them on hardware wallets.

Just saw this news earlier - Pinellas Park cybersecurity expert stole over $500K from client, police say

Apparently, the guy saw his client's Trezor and the password in the same area while setting up a security system. I know it sounds stupid but many (or some) of us could easily commit this mistake since we tend to become complacent in our own homes. So needless to say, be more careful where you put your wallets and PW. Any of your friends/neighbors could come into your house and steal them from you.

For sure a hardware wallet are the one that the most safe as nobody will ever have an access into your bitcoin unless they have the hardware itself. many will suggest trezor as they are one of the biggest bitcoin wallet provider indeed , so do i. but if you ask me other places like a software wallet like coinbase , mycelium and blockchain.com and the other giant bitcoin wallet company. i'd choose mycelium myself.

yeah i knew it that nothing is safe , especially whenyou connected to internet , a lot of things could happened in bad ways. yeah online wallet never be a recommendation but if you had to use it , then mycelium is my pick

Hardware wallets are best options for you like Trezor or Ledger or if you don't want to spend money on buying these devices you can have other non custodial wallet like Electrum which do not store your keys and funds are safe. The next step is you are well aware of the fact that don't share your seeds or save them on any online storage or even on your mobile devices which could lead to security compromised and funds can be lost forever.
