Until now, people from mostly the poorer and developing countries were not part of the global community when it comes to places like e-bay or amazon, because almighty Paypal won't let them, but bitcoin have leveled the play ground and anyone with some coins can stop by to shop.

Until eBay or Amazon actually accept payment in Bitcoin, people are still limited.

Right now your only option would be to get a BTC credit card from a company like Bitpay or Xapo
https://cointelegraph.com/news/6-cards-battle-for-bitcoin-supremacy-bitcoin-debit-card-comparison-test
and use that to shop on Amazon.
Which means you are still incurring additional fees and being forced to use a third-party service.

Thats IF you can even find a way to convert local fiat currency to Bitcoin.
We need easier ways to convert fiat and more ways to actually spend BTC if the market is going to grow and make online shopping more accessible to people who can't use a service like paypal.
I have a different understanding on what you are saying, to be able to use that card you need to fun your account with your bitcoin, so for me it's mor like a debit card than a credit card. Please correct me if I am wrong..

Obviously there are many poor countries where we can see unemployment on extreme level so in those areas if these people try to adopt bitcoin then definitely they could make a handsome profit our of internet. and if they try to start trade with their lowest available money then also  they will be able to earn some good amount of money and will be able to spend life like rich peopl, take an example of myself. Just kidding well i earn $25 in a month through bitcoin.

I think you have a point. like for example if they join a high paying signature campaign. It is profitable to them if they convert the reward in their local currency, I am sure it has a huge value and can help in their daily life.
Come on man, you are so funny.. Do you think we can accommodate all the population of the poor countries to work for signature campaign. Think deeper please, it's not the real opportunity here, it's just a bonus you can earn for being a loyal members but not a job at all.

He's right. The signature campaign is not something a massive amount of people can rely on. Second, signature campaigns, in reality, pays pennies and dimes which would not translate to a job that can sustain your whole family.

I think those are rather myopic views, bitcoin is a big project and goes well beyond signature campaigns, faucets and many other means that are simply being used to sensitize people about the discovery. As many more people begin to adopt bitcoin, certainly lots of business opportunities would spring up and so would earning opportunities.

Probably, bitcoin can help poor countries by giving them the power of bitcoin itself. They can probably, make use of the facilities of bitcoin for their transactions within and outside the country. Also, they can also offer their services in exchange of bitcoins instead of asking for fiat currency.

no i do not thing that bitcoin can help poor countries because the poor countries have no facilities available to them, they cannot even trade bitcoin because they even cannot afford internet and cannot having good amount of money to buy bitcoin.
poor countries doesn't mean their people can't afford anything, inside poor countries also having classes such as high class(rich),middle class, and the poor
and even if the people can't even afford a computer and an internet, government can just make a computer + internet access for commercial in there, only if the government want to put an effort
they can afford stuff, but you bring up another very interesting point. there are different classes. it would be interesting to talk about which class uses bitcoin, which could benefit from it the most.
In poor countries people lacks education and I mean majority of them, I live in 3rd world country and the unemployment rate is very high here, so with the advent of bitcoin I hope it can help them somehow but the big problem is you need to be literate to be able to understand the concept of bitcoin.

Sometimes people focus just on problems, we need to focus on solutions, like how we can use bitcoin to have a better life? How can we introduce this do more people?

How we can create an local community that accept bitcoin and how it can be an solution to have a better life?
Good suggestions leads to better solution, it's actually hard to promote bitcoin to people who are not living in an online world. Please take consideration that bitcoin is not supported by the government and when people know that they will be skeptical about bitcoin.

In order for bitcoin to help poor country, there should be an access to it.  After the access is established, government should support the project especially this livelihood project created thru bitcoin channel.  Then educate people about bitcoins, the basics of it other applications of bitcoins.  This project will certainly failed if the access to bitcoin is not established.

Of course people must be educated an supported by the government as that will surely help the country to move forwards. But corruption in poor countries thrives by keeping people ignorant. What benefit does the government there have to educate people and to make them aware of all the posibilities that Bitcoin can offer them? It will allow people to work outside the banking system where the government can't put its dirty hands on it. The same as is the case with governments in well developed countries, they don't want you to enjoy financial freedom. That's why you should never expect any support coming from whatever government.

Can Bitcoin or any other altcoin help poor countries?
how? what can be done?
Bitcoin.can't develop a whole country but it can help the person who use bitcoin, who invest on bitcoin.by that poor country's people can make their life better and stable. And also government can take some steps to aware people the advantages of bitcoin so that people can make some earn to live nicely and thus a country can be changed.
yes it is true that only bitcoin users could be helped by bitcoin and there is not possible bitcoin could help people who didn't use bitcoin but bitcoin will be difficult to develop on third countries because usually people who came from there had lack of interest for bitcoin and i say this because i do live on third country and on my neighborhood very rarely to find bitcoin users such as me and there are only several people using bitcoin including me

Yes, I agree.. digital money can help poor country or people. “The combination of ubiquitous Internet-connected mobile devices and digital currency presents a tremendous opportunity to radically expand access to financial services on a worldwide basis,Bitcoin does dramatically lower the transaction costs of moving money from one place to another, but that alone won’t help. The mobile money services that have sprung up throughout the developing world have the same advantage.

bitcoin certainly will not solve all the problems that exist in that country dude, but I'm sure at least bitcoin can change a little economy community in that country

In fact, I must have seen a lot of the people were from the 3rd countries. They have large of intention for bitcoin today.
They'd felt get a lot of help by using bitcoin and it was giving more rather than his local currency today.
And they have been using bitcoin.

There are some countries that have very limited access to bank transfers or paypal. Western Union and Bitcoin are the only viable options for a lot of third world countries.

In a country where access to bank transfer is limited, how are you going to convert your coins to fiat? Do you expect Bitcoin exchanges to function in a country where banks don't exist?
Lol I think it is precisely in all countries of the easiest is to use a bank to transfer money from one city to another. I think bitcoin will help a country if every citizen of the country is to use bitcoin
Bank is a conventional tool which is currently widely used. but in the future, bitcoin will be the main payment instruments. I believe the strength of bitcoin will be make bitcoin in the majority in the world trade market.

Bitcoin will be used by people who have problems to get or to open a bank account due to failures of KYC, espcially when you're not owning any significant, important papers and documents about yourself.
But for that to happen lot's of infrastructure has to be build and people need to have access to cheap smart and feature phones.
This is something what is going to happen in 2-3 years. There are still lots of hurdles we have to overcome.
Countries like India, Souh East Asia, in parts China, some african and south/latin american countries I can see the real first adopters of Bitcoin due to reasons of being underserved.

We can use Venezuela as example, we can see people there using bitcoin to avoid the fiat currency problems caused by the government... And that's the beauty of the bitcoin, there's no government behind it.

The problem with people that don't have how to open an bank account is that they don't have how to exchange easily.

Actually it can't solve corruption since it is not part of the system...The only way that bitcoin could improve poor peoples status is by making them earn at home and without spending too much on uniforms and transportation, aside from that they won't have to apply for the job which sometimes in real life  is too hard to find...Aside from that and the money transfer, I cannot think of other way that bitcoin can help poor countries...  Smiley

In third world countries like in any country there are different social classes, those that are the poorest could benefit from bitcoin but they are the ones most difficult to reach mostly by economical and sociological factors.
