no. I wonder why people always raise this question, people in poor countries generally do not have the technology, nor the education to use bitcoin
You're right, but not at all in this day a lot of the people in the poor countries is raced for gaining a high education and knowledge but could this is not applied in the Africa in my mind. Grin

That's the fact in depressed areas and that is really the situation in some poor countries especially mentioned Africa. Because even we can say that bitcoin is easy to be learned. But their government is not able to support them in terms of education and technology so whether bitcoin is going to help them still they can't move because they don't have resources.
Because they know that when bitcoin will be popular and people will love it, it might affect big businesses that they are protecting for their personal interest. I guess we will not get any support from the government in the future, but despite of that we are still seeing that bitcoin is very progressive.
Correct and agreed, the progress of bitcoin is continuous as we see, poor countries can help by bitcoin if bitcoin will distribute resources for those people who do not have gadgets to access bitcoin also internet connection is required.

Crypto currency is just another form of money and not a magic which will help this problem. So my answer is NO. Bitcoin or any other crypto currency will not be able to help the poor countries.

However, if the people of the country wants to start their own business with bitcoin, probably that person will be able to help himself. He may be able to change his own situation and nothing else. It can't help the mass in any way unless someone donates to them.

But always remember. You cannot start your own business without a capital.
If this person had a capital, he could have started his business a long time ago even not with bitcoin.

That' the point, a good idea can earn money, whatever the currency, fiat or crypto.

Money make money, and that's why they still poor.
I think money can make a country become alive again. the wealth of every person in a country can make it back in the developing countries, so bitcoin would be devastating for a country when that country has a bitcoin users
i do not see why? do you mean because you think you do not have to pay taxes with bitcoin? because you do have to pay them just the same as with fiat.
and if you decide to open up a business with bitcoin in the country then you will pay taxes and create jobs just the same as with fiat. i see not why bitcoin should hurt.

At the end of the day, you will pay the same taxes and fees, you have to use a exchange to buy/sell the coin, it's only possible cut off this taxes if you can use only bitcoin for receive/send but there's few spots that accept the coin...

and well, you have to pay taxes to the government whatever if it's bitcoin or fiat...
I think bitcoin can help people in poor country by make them investing their money in bitcoin investments. We are know that investing in bitcoin is do not need capital and no taxes becouse bitcoin have anonimity. The goverment will not know who have bitcoin.

That will really be hard to decide in my own opinion because i actually want to really get how Bitcoin will really help them, is it by giving developmental projects or by ensuring hitch free election or maybe by curbing corruption or by ensuring speedy delivery of judgments, or maybe its the provision of jobs to the ever increasing population these and many other things are the help that poor countries actually need. However, I see Bitcoin liberating people to make extra income but on the individual level.

I agree with you on this, I want to believe the countries we both reside have some similarities because the factors listed in addition to the issue of kidnapping, vandalism, thuggery among others are those ravaging poor countries. However, like you position too, I see individuals like myself have seen bitcoin as a means of generating extra income in a passive way thereby supplementing it with my day job by so doing its actually helping me meet my basic needs despite the fact that I could said to be from a poor country...

Maybe Bitcoin can't help poor countries but it might help poor people. To help the country it should be incorporated in official economy and that is not very likely. Although poor countries don't have such developed infrastructure and techology people can stil find the way to Bitcoin and use it. In fact we can see that many users come from countries like India, Pakistan, Africa and similar.

no way it can increase economy of a poor country

It will, if the people who are jobless in poor countries are going to have job with bitcoin they just need to have proper knowledge in bitcoin. And for sure that is going to make them able to contribute to their country. For they are going to buy products of their country that contains tax, so in that way they are able to help their own country.

In poorer countries technology isn't as advanced and people have less reach to proper networking. Considering this how can poorer countries pay people in Bitcoins? Also, even now almost all poor countries still pay their users in fiat so that the poor aren't suffering to find places to spend their money. It's going to make it hard for the poor to spend their funds if they receive their wages or salaries in Bitcoins unless there's a huge market accepting Bitcoin payments.

Why do you think like that? It gives an opportunity to people to earn money from home and in turn, helps to countries growth. Bitcoins are better option to improve your financial by working at your free time and if poor countries if electricity is cheap then they can mine bitcoins and earn better.

of course it is quite possible that a country can be saved through the economy, and if most of the country being rich of course it will help the country. if the population of the country using bitcoin it could save the country bitcoin

yes i think because you can not steal someone bitcoin or money without a private key you can also see like the government address to check if they using the money right and not stealing it

you don't have to seize someone's private key in order to steal people's coins. you connecting to an unknown wifi network is enough for someone to have access to your device, and send your coins to one of his addresses. and this is just one common reason of how people get robbed while they don't know it.

Bitcoin can help poor countries in such a way that people will not have to pay taxes while using bitcoins, like they pay taxes on monetary transactions while using Fiat currency. Also there are a lot of small jobs available which offer bitcoins in return.
