I really don't think signature campaigns and/or faucets can make you goes away from poor.
This things can go away tomorrow, so you will be poor again?
People have to think in future, not in the present only.
Im saying here is atleast there are earning free bitcoin that they can use it for daily needs and weekly 0.12 per month is good for them to start and use it as capital to do trading and it not just capital they will also know how to handle money with trading and lots of that they gonna earned knowledge that they can use it for future.

I don't think that it will because people will be too poor to buy bitcoins

Indeed but what if they can earn them trough for example services or forum campaigns. This would create "jobs" for the people by bitcoin. So yes I believe bitcoin can help poor countries.
i do believe that kind forum jobs have an effect even not alot ,
bitcoin are really helpful in changing an economy of developed / poor country ,
not just forum jobs but out there people look into bitcoin as a solution of economy acceleration ,
and also as a way to donate your money easily anywhere anytime.

I agree that it can help against corruption. Because the blockchain is open for all to check that if the money is being used for their own sake. But I guess this would not happen in real life or in a government.

I believe that Bitcoins can help poor countries in a big way. If you look at the poorest countries in the world, it is evident that banking cartels are making huge amounts of money by exploiting the hard working people who are unfortunate enough to be born there. Even remittance payments are getting fleeced. Western Union sometimes charge as much as 15% of the total amount to send money to third world nations. Bitcoin can eradicate this exploitation.

In my opinion, bitcoin can help poor countries by give a job for many jobless people on poor countries. Many jobless people will earn money with bitcoin and help the country too.

the way you are writing your post, it doesn't make any sense. just read back your post and you'll see it (i hope). bitcoin isn't a miracle that can give people a job out of nothing. for that to happen startups and bitcoin related services need to pop up and hire qualified people. this might help a few individuals, but not the country itself.

Yes definitely because bitcoin could bring digital money to one's country without spending a single penny also so by this poor country could get benefited from bitcoin. But many poor countries are banning bitcoin because they they they could suffer losses.

Can Bitcoin or any other altcoin help poor countries?
how? what can be done?

I think that most likely the bitcoin user will help the poor not the bitcoin itself.

I dont think the bitcoin can help poor countries how would they help poor countries if they dont have money to buy bitcoins how are they suppose to help them i dontt see the point of this question.

They can earn it, a poor country doesnt mean that the country does not have internet system or computers at all, but means poor by economy, so the people of that country can learn about the technology of bitcoin and start earning bitcoins online like how we are doing, i personally never have bought any bitcoins but i'm always earning it and it is helping me a lot financially.

True and also in some developing countries electricity may be less price then they can start mining bitcoins and make more profit. One no need to have money to become rich but should know how to earn money then soon or later then can become rich. Bitcoins are one of the ways to make some extra money.
in developing countries electricity is cheap because subsidized by the government and because of it the electricity was limited too so they can't afford to have big mining rig, also keep in mind that mining rig is quite expensive,RX480 is really expensive thing for people in developing countries

I dont think this is a good question because how do you think bitcoin can help poor countries do you really think that bitcoins can help them grow if they dont have money for food how would they have money for bitcoins lol.

Earning bitcoin is not that hard, so if a family has an access to computer and internet, I think atleast they could earn few cents of bitcoin.. They could use it to feed themselves... Now, they won't have to buy bitcoin to start, they could earn it, and perhaps it would give them ideas that they could earn in online jobs while they are still looking for a job in real life..

I'm gald to see that there are more proofs to the notion that Bitcoin can help poor countries. I live in a poor country too and I can confirm that Bitcoin helps a lot to some people here financially. Of course there are different levels of what we can call "poor". Unfortunately some people do not have computers and some do not have homes, and some don't have enough water to drink. I don't know how Bitcoin can be helpful in those cases, but if someone has a computer with connection to the Internet Bitcoin definitely can be helpful.

It can help in any ways but as mentioned earlier there are also setbacks. For instance using bitcoin in a poor country allows you to profit thru trading and investing and purchase online at lowers costs but the negative side is that poor government didn't gain any taxes from those transactions and it'll end up losing if majority of its country's transactions are purchases or the flow of money is going out. Besides some corrupt officials and rich people can easily hide their money and transfer it to international banks with some anonymity.

how can the poor buy bitcoin if they don't have money to buy it . or how can they earn or make bitcoin from some basic source if they don't have a necessary device ? . the government should take that responsibility not bitcoin .

i dont think bitcoin or altcoins will help poor countries
some countries not accept not allow it or not know about bitcoin and altcoins
the better way is exchange it to their local currency then help them with that cash or give them food, medicine and clothes

dont tink so lel, if they are poor i dun think a form of virtual currency helps them

But it could though just think about it how much money people made with low effort or no qualification trough bitcoin.
So why couldn't they do that? If they have acces to a computer and internet then they could for sure get into bitcoin and it would help them.
