Can Bitcoin or any other altcoin help poor countries?
how? what can be done?

Bitcoin as far as I know can help the others or the individuals not the country alone. Bitcoin is not created by nakamoto for each country. if ever that bitcoin can help the poor country the their citizens must be a bitcoin enthusiast with that there is a chance that bitcoin can be a key for the poor country.
it is true it can help individual by using bitcoin but not the whole country therefor there are lots of country who really don't know what is bitcoin but they can learned it from internet geting source to have knowledge and then start trading or investing.

Future Bitcoin Convention

To the moon! lol

actualy blockchain can help people with smart contracts, for example, you buy a land and this will be always in the chain, no chance to change it...
You know, corrupt governments do whatever they want with the lands and others stuffs...
"to the moon"

I'm thinking these people probably don't know what a smart phone or computer is since they probably don't know what running water is. I doubt smart contracts or buying land is anything they need to worry about. Their big worry is most likely who ate the family dog before thanksgiving.

Yeah those people do not have any technology so they are unable to adopt icoin, if someone in donation help them to provide access to bitcoin and internet and let them know that how to earn with bitcoin then they will be very happy and will have a good amount of money for their life.

It will be very difficult if the case of the country people is like this. Even in donation to help them it will not be enough to do it as a starting point. But it will be a  good testimony if they succeed through bitcoin.

Those who want to earn bitcoin must invest to get them. People from rich countries have more chances, because they have more options for this to happen. Some don't even have their own PC to access the Internet.

You have the point with it that is why people on the first world countries are earning decent amount daily because their country is rich and they can invest everywhere they want to. Unlike in poor countries even their internet connections they are just asking their neighbors what is the password of wifi because they are not able to avail their own internet connection for bitcoins.

I doubt whether cryptocurrencies can offer anything magical to change the economic status of a nation.

Need some spare btc for a new PC
October 02, 2016, 06:09:25 AM
No i don't supporting this idea because even rich countries have some issues while using bitcoin, poor countries won't have many opportunities to improve by using bitcoin. Another reason is that in poor countries, people can hardly get access to the Internet as well as those new technology like smartphones or laptops, so it will be tricky to bring bitcoin to those areas.

That depends on how you classify the poor countries... Serbia is a poor country, not as poor as african ones but not as rich and blossoming like Germany or Swiss, so here the bitcoin might help a lot of people to earn somethng more, even one btc a month is double the average salary, and  a lor of people here have access to the internet by someway. So it might help out countries like Serbia but most likely not countries like in Africa.

We all believe that trying to help poor people in developing countries need to give money, and in this case bitcoin. But the fact that the issuance of a large amount of money does not improve the situation of the poor countries, may seem strange. Become richer their rulers.
Because the money given to them are really not free. Countries like USA gives money  to them on Credit , which means they need to pay it with interest on a certain amount of time. While Bitcoin we need to have more ways of earning online so that people from poor countries earn sufficient bitcoin to feed them on their daily living.
Restrictions on the amount of bitcoin may even happen growth rates but the number does not change, but rather decrease. This may affect the ability to help other countries. You just need to understand that there are limits to everything.

Yes definitely because with bitcoin there is much more potential to earn than conventional paper currency. So if poor country start using bitcoin then they could definitely make huge profit in terms of trading or through any other source. But if they broke l becomes victim of scanner then their country could got down in economy. But this won't happen if they understand bitcoin well
I doubt the poor people will get into bitcoin for trading. They would need an active internet and what not, to even sustain a trading dream. Even for normal use I doubt it would be successful, unless a company rolls out free internet for entire countries.

I think that bitcoin and poor countries in general have nothing to do. Although if you put on stream for production of farm production bitcoin, the case will be successful. But not for the whole country.

i think yes , because any poor country's people can use Bitcoin and can make money throughout the year this Will rise to the economic power of the people and this will reult in the rich making people in that country .

People in poor countries have their main priority set on surviving/making sure they can make the ends meet. Investing is something that doesn't come up in their mind since they can't live without their money.
but bitcoin could make them more exposed. especially in terms of business.
they can make an online business and they can also sell to some areas that have high levels of a better economy.

In order to start an online business they are required to at least have some sort of starting capital. From where do you think they will get this starting capital? Bitcoin isn't such a miracle that it lands into their wallets so they can do whatever they want with it.

Bitcoin itself can never do such thing. Maybe it can be use to help the poor countries but like what I've said it cannot help the poor countries just with itself. The only one that can help poor countries is their own selves. They have to find a way how to help their own country to get up form the crisis that they are into right now, because no one will help them if in the first place they can't even help their own selves. The very first step in every action to success must begin from us, to ourselves and not to someone else's hands or power because how could that someone's going to help a person if that someone can't even see a thing of courage and bravery from that person to start a new beginning to a way to success, don't you think? That's why we must trust ourselves first to achieve the change that we're looking for, for our own beloved country.

One of the only issues I see with this is that poor countries do not have the computer or internet to use bitcoin.  Because of this reason only, I do not think that bitcoin will be able to help these countries.  I actually think it could hurt them if bitcoin would become a world currency.
I think you're referring to people that are really really really poor. Even third world countries like the Philippines, where I live, has an Internet connection. It might not be as fast as the US' and it's much much expensive than what most people has, but that's just how it is.

Even in poor countries, there would always be people who are "rich" enough to buy a phone that can access the Internet. That enough, can make somebody earn some Bitcoins, get enough money to buy a decent PC and have a modem for Internet connection. To be honest, lazy people are just using the "I have no computer" as an excuse. Everybody now has a smartphone and that is enough.

True, they would really have a hard time to invest since  on poor countries  theyre salary  or money is just  enough for their  daily needs and     none would be left  on their money  for investments. For bitcoin  if they are aware on  its existence maybe theres a possibility that it would somehow  help them but  it really needs effort too.
