Yes, bitcoin helps a lot of people specially who doesn't have any work .in my country there is a lot of poor people and accepting this bitcoin changes the lives of the hardworker work then a sideline to bitcoin .many of us the user of bitcoins in my country are spending this bitcoin especially the students they use it as their pocket money to buy goods and things on. Dogecoin and litecoin also helps in one way to the orphanage in the philippines ,thats the proof that not only bitcoin helps itself but the crypto's are trying to keep in touch to the poor peoples.

Definitely, poor countries benefits in using bitcoin is they can save on the remittances expenses, when you are in the poor country usually the people who has a family will go work in a more develop country and will send their money back to their family but with the high remittance fee they cannot enjoy the whole amount of salary but with bitcoin they can send with a little amount of charges.

Can Bitcoin or any other altcoin help poor countries?
how? what can be done?

It gives an opportunity for people to earn an extra income because wage is just enough for the people and some even don't have enough income to pay bills and their other expenses. It also helps them in having a way to store their money by storing it in bitcoin wallet because most people also don't have a bank account because they don't have supporting documents to open one.

The Problem in your country is so much populated where many people are depending on their goverment and they are lazy to find a stable job that they can earn monthly salary to support your selve 😂 but if they know how to use bitcoin then probably they can support they needs hehe even they got not too much
wow your statement is like politician bro, just to confirm cause my country same with the OP, my country is not poor country
bitcoin/altcoin can help poor countries of course not, only the people and government that could help their country, bitcoin/altcoin is currency, but you can help others who are poor by telling how to get bitcoin / altcoin the easy way with giveaway and other ways if you know
But i agree with @Noctis Connor statement that most of the poor people are lazy and they are the one who always depend in the government while the rich people will not stop to make them richer. I think it is hard for the poor to earn in bitcoin because it is required an laptop/smart phone/desktop computer and internet connection which is they can not afford that.

it can bring wealth to poor countries who dont have access to banking, which means that people can lend to others to promote entrepreneurial sprit
banking activity have nothing to do with the poor economy because most of people in the poor country don't have a bank account, and when people are lending their money to others, mostly of them will give a monthly interest or weekly so it's really not helping

i am sure that bitcoin can help poor people but not sure about this that either it can help poor countries or not. i think it depend on their policy if they allow their people to use bitcoin and their people become rich in bitcoin atumatically it will help their country to develop

People won't become richt by just using Bitcoin (not even in wealthy countries), for that they need to make a massive investment, which is exactly what they don't have. These people need a smartphone and internet connection in order to make use of a light weight Bitcoin wallet. Without that, there will be no Bitcoin for them.

Bitcoin is not like a gold mine where poor countries will go mining and say 'huraa!!' we got wealth. Bitcoin depends on technology which is a challenge to most poor countries. Therefore, I don't believe in your notion that bitcoin will help poor countries.

But they need a stable Internet connection and a good PC in order to earn money from mining, which is not affordable for them. I don't think it can help too much.

The real question is, Can poor countries help Bitcoin? I don't want people using Bitcoin that only earn $2 a month unless there's a couple of billion of them using it.

Besides, don't they have shit like M-Pesa to send their penny's to each other?

For sure if a entire country start to use it as a secondary currency option, the bitcoin can raise your price, "erase" the fame of illegal trades, more midia...

Wow! Nice to see a coin like that! How the things are going?
Don't know if I'm blind or just small fonts hahah however it's hard to read the Road Map on the site.
Great idea, all the best for you and CoExistCoin!

I like the fact that the exchange rate is universal. Politics in poor country can't affect the currency. Importantly, for any trade into countries with low value currency you make a good sum of money back.

That's the point.

If it is a poor country, let's assume they have no decent internet connection speed or no connection at all.
And we all know that bitcoin is internet-based. Now, even if we are thousands of donors here and we can make hundreds of thousands of bitcoins, how can we deliver it to them? The coins don't fly by themselves. We still need people who are actual volunteers. Just saying.

Can bitcoin/digital currency deliver a better internet connection/technology to this countries? How?

Of course we can. We can help build satellites but that would cost millions of dollars.
Our donation would not be enough just to build those facilities.

Well, maybe Bill Gates can donate too  Cheesy

Indeed.  There might be big potential for bitcoin to help the poor.  Everyone has a cellphone and everyone can use it and its valueis the same in every ccountry.   Time will tell on this issue.   Government tends to kill great things, especially in repressed countries.

Yes I think bitcoin and other coins can help poor families in their financial matters, as in those countries the income per head is much lower and along with that there is unemployment, so any person at there who will have an internet connection and who will learn about earning bitcoins and altcoins will be able to earn a bigger amount of money.

It is possible, but it needs an initial action from those less fortunate people to earn from bitcoin if you are talking about their "earnings"...Now, if they don't even have a mobile phone, how will they start? or can't even afford to pay a computer rent in a cafe...They can't use bitcoin or earn from it if they don't know what it is and no one around them would tell them what to do or even volunteer to let them use a computer...

To make it short, they won't if they don't have those that I mention above IMO...
