I think that not only bitcoin but very big bitcoin datacenter can help poor countries to become more famous and develope their it skills and thing about bitcoin. For example BitFury opened a one of the biggest datacenter in georgia, so many people now know more about this country and there is a chance of more investors.

Can Bitcoin or any other altcoin help poor countries?
how? what can be done?
I do agree that bitcoin can help poor people but I don’t think that bitcoin as well as other cryptocurrencies have any solutions for the poverty of some countries. They can easily make money by doing some online jobs or some simple things that don’t charge any extra fees and if they have a little bitcoin then they can use it to invest.
However, on a bigger scale like a city or a country, bitcoin hardly do anything to save that city or country out of poverty.

From my point of view , Bitcoin can be used either for help poor people or help evil people , it is like any currency but Bitcoin can be untraceable , and this feature used to support many illegal actions , even Bitcoin used for supporting the terrorism in europe and the middle east according to some reports , that can not eliminate the useful and important optiones which Bitcoin provide in the legal cases .

BTC enables people to do transactions with each other from different sides of the world. It does not grant more people internet access, but people who have internet access can deal with far away companies easily thanks to BTC. That is very good because individuals of a poor economy can invest into cryptocurrency that could have a relatively high return.

if many poor people hold bitcoin and then the price skyrocket because rich people buy bitcoin, i think yes, because those poor people will become rich, the same can be true if a nation will adopt bitcoin, and it's a poor nation

Bitcoin cannot help I think the poor countries. But if all citizens in the poor country will open their mind into this kind of digital currency that poor country might gonna be have a chance to be free in poverty and help their government in some other aspects of bitcoin.
of course it can, it offers countries a decentralized currency that a lot of people would like to use for sure, and it is really easy to be honest

Yes, is even evidence in countries like Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina and Nigeria, it helps in remittance payment, against Government  regulation  (Uber in Argentina) and again as a save haven when the local currency take a dive against dollar

In my opinion, of course it can. Bitcoin is just another form of money. We can make a project like donation or charity program and the donatur donate with bitcoin. And the program target is to help people in those poor countries.

Can Bitcoin or any other altcoin help poor countries?
how? what can be done?

Yes, Bitcoin definitely can help people living in poor countries. Here are just two examples how:

1. People from poor countries can earn Bitcoin doing some services online (like coding, photoshopping etc.)

2. They can find something which is cheap in their country but is in demand in rich countries and sell it via post making profits.

Well, you also can do those even without use bitcoin as payment method or currency, so it don't change anything.
Maybe you should think if those poor people don't have internet connection or computer, how bitcoin can help those people?

I think if we are going to pursue mining then it can really help some poor people, if someone can provide them things they can used for mining and teach them how it is easily done. You don't have to be smart enough to mine in my own opinion

The problem is that Bitcoin is not so available to the poor countries. To expect some substantial help this have to be a project on a larger scale supported by governement and community but that is not very likely.
