I don't think govs will start a war against bitcoin, there is a lot of money involved and the governments who decide to block or ban Bitcoin will lose an awesome business opportunity. We know China is holding tons of BTC and at least they will not ban it. and that's why I think bitcoin will not be blocked by govs.
But as a reminder, nothing lasts forever, sha256 will be brute-forced in the future, and that will make the coins migrate to a new encryption system with more complexity, which will be some kind of evolution for bitcoin. But it will survive to that.

Another pessimistic approach towards bitcoin. Remember that while othet countries are regulating and banning bitcoin, more countries are bitcoin friendly and tend to adopt it with an open arms. We are not in a traditional way of living, modernized technologies, cashless system are already been introduced. Thus bitcoin as advanced blockchain offers a lot of use in different aspects.
Also, as bitcoin has a limited supply, it will last many years from now. Probably the last bitcoin to be mined will be 2140. Hundred decades and more.and that for sure, we will gonna witnessed the existence of bitcoin until we are alive.

No, that is even theoretically impossible, as infinity lasts forever, which is mathematically a neverending amount of time.
Even though currently not all governments support bitcoin and some people are still afraid to invest in bitcoin because of the scam problem, but according to my own personal opinion bitcoin will last a long time ... because now there are many elite wealthy people, who have switched to bitcoin ..

no matter what happen to crypto currency in the future wherein even government ban it due to some accusation such scamming and even they will base on its dark side.. Still they cannot stop crypto currency on its service, especially bitcoin in my opinion.. Because ever since BTC has a big advantage than real fiat. So for me its impossible that ppl will stay away on it as long as it still gives more opportunity for the hodler to earn massive profits... I am not here to criticize what you said as well, however Bitcoin cannot be stopped by any means actually OP.Even if government bans it, people still have the control to transfer it through p2p transaction or even use VPNs when ISP block each trading site.

You know what doesn't run after that which you don't have any knowledge of especially when it comes to future things which will gonna happen or not. Today's era in the crypto industry is not meant to discuss the later issue instead if you want to take advantage of the current situation, you need to arm yourself with enough knowledge to be able to invest in the right project so that you will gonna prosper in the future.
If we are talking about infinity then it will be problematic since there is no machine that can last for that amount of time. Maybe if we perceive cyberspace as an immortal plane then maybe bitcoin can last till infinity.
People that says bitcoin is still a scam is either they are a victim of ponzi scheme with the use of bitcoin or they are non-technical type of people who still can accept digital currencies and only considers fiat as a form of money. With the big institution investing in bitcoin and adopting blockchain technology, how can they say it is still a scam. I've known bitcoin 2016 and since then I never thought of it as a scam. Government has been trying to get rid of Bitcoin from the onset and they haven't been able to truly fo anything about it and they won't be able to do anything stop bitcoin not even in the near future or in 2030 like you mentioned. At best, government can only make up bad press media about Bitcoin that would go as far as bringing the price down. Other than that, government won't be able to stop Bitcoin's network from operating as it is. 2030 is just a decade away and there were many talks about government ending crypto in the past decade and it didn't work, still won't because Bitcoin is stronger than ever.

Bitcoin will continue to exist as long as people know how to use the internet, or has a way to access the internet itself. That's why a world war or something of the likes is the worst thing that can happen to us crypto investors and enthusiasts because of the fact that war impedes on technological progress, which means that there will be less support and usage for internet.
Infinity is very very far away. The speed of light is only 299,792,458 meters per second. Therefore, it would take too much time to transmit a block to infinity and back. It would be impossible for the network to ever reach consensus under such long communication delays. It probably won't even be possible to use the same blockchain on both Earth and Mars considering the 6 minute to 44 minute round trip time (depending on orbital positions), so no Bitcoin definitely won't make it to infinity.

Even though I wouldn't say that Bitcoin will last for Infinity, But Bitcoin is here to stay for a long while. Yes there are some countries where the Governments are not in support of Cryptocurrencies but also there are many other countries for now that the Governments have not done against Cryptocurrencies at least for now and hopefully not and there are others who actually do not go against it. So just by this simple example, Bitcoin might end up lasting for a very long time also because, the governments can only ban its trading within the country but not its existence.
