Bitcoin can not survive without the Blockchain, actually.
Blockchain Technology was driven to fame by its application on Bitcoin Gold due to its encryption that has been considered hacker proof. Bitcoin has been used as a reference to its success, providing a secure network for users.
The question however is, can blockchain succeed without bitcoin?
Had it not been for cryptocurrencies, we may have never seen the ongoing blockchain involvement throughout the institutions, as it was what sparked everyone’s interest, and also as it created the wealth enabling the ongoing innovations in the industry since its beginning, even before traditional investors came in.
Bitcoin may be the one that put blockchain into the spotlight but it doesn't mean that it is dependent on it because now blockchain transactions are now done in the internet so it may survive without bitcoin but will not without the internet and there are other coins that also have a ton of potentials that can overthrow bitcoin so the probability is high.
Yes of course it can, but blockchain can not run without the internet. Bitcoin and blockchain are the most sophisticated innovations I've ever encountered, are very transparent and we have full control over our coin. Unlike FIAT which is controlled by each country.

Of course it will, bitcoin is more like the marketing for blockchain technology which exist even before bitcoin was founded. Bitcoin for the present time many transaction takes place over the internet and i think the bitcoin is the most active trading currency of the world.
If Bitcoin disappears for a reason, certain coins will be able to replace it as the leader of the kriptocurrancy currency. It can be Ethereum, or Bitcoin money or other successful coins that will manifest itself in the future. One example of its use is that it can be used for better selection of new state officials, in this case when we use Blockchain for voting systems, Blockchain technology is more secure and can prevent data from being edited or from any changes because all stored data is permanent.

I think blockchain can survive when bitcoin is gone, but blockchain definitely gets shaken because there's no bitcoin anymore. Because both are very dependent on each other.
