I think bitcoin will be a king in cryptocurrency in 10 years. although cardano has a proof of stakes protocol but it will be very difficult to exceed bitcoin. in terms of price, trading volume and cardano market capitalization are still very low compared to bitcoin. so there won't be an altcoin that can replace bitcoin. bitcoin is the main one in cryptocurrency.
If Cardano manages to successfully launch PoS, and it really gets so decentralized as Charles claims, I think in the next 10 years Cardano can surpass Bitcoin, not just as a utility but as a marketcap and a store of value.

Also, while Cardano launches PoS, other altcoins will also add updates and improvements to their coin projects during this period too. So the competition alone will make it hard for Cardano
I am agree, Bitcoin is safest investment in market and i dont think Cardano will replace bitcoin as store of value. Its decentralized and i think investor more trust on decentralized cryptocurrency like bitcoin and its already known as digital gold
Let the people decide and I think they will always choose bitcoin.
Cardano has a potential, it's currently on its early stage and it has a good number of supporters, well you can tell it on the volume.
It's good for this coin to be ambitious as that means they are working hard to develop the coin to be the best in the future.

I also feel this is a joke, it is impossible for cardano to replace Bitcoin even though Cardano launched PoS, on the market there are many altcoins who are ready to make updates and innovations to attract investor interest, cardano must be able to pass market competition before intending to replace Bitcoin
It was a joke, I can't imagine it happening, because cardano is still very far away. from the market and community supporters I think should prepare longer cardano to realize those ideas.

These guys probably are writing from a parallel reality where Cardano's CEO is Satoshi. No chance to beat BTC in the next 3-5 years.BTC might lead the way and who knows in next 10 years what will happen and how it will turn around but essentially doubtful if Cardano could take that long stride in order to beat btc in coming years as it has a long way to reach their.

It will be difficult for any coins to surpass bitcoin in terms of market capitalization and value in the next ten years because of the foundation that it has establish among the decentralized cryptocurrencies. Almost all the physical structures of cryptocurrencies in any country has bitcoin as a foundations and I don't think that this foundation can be wiped away by cardano in the next ten years. Any thoughts?

I think the scenario you described is unlikely. And Bitcoin will remain even after 10 years, number one on the market. The currency you mentioned is good, but I even doubt that it can take second place.
there is a lot of money that can replace bitcoin in the future but I think that ETH and XRP are more likely to do so
replace bitcoin... i see this impossible because the markets are Bitcoin-based. That means the alts could have a price bigger than bitcoin in the future, let's say 1ETH=1.5BTC but that doesn't mean now the coins will now be Ethereum-Based, markets will keep quoting alts in BTC.
I don't think that's possible, the reason is because at any time Bitcoin continues to grow. even in the next 10 years, it's still impossible. the cardano might be good, but there are still many similar platforms like him. so maybe in the future he will compete to maintain his position.

Yeah it's only for hype. In my opinion Cardano is far from to replace bitcoin, even there are some altcoins that suit better to replace bitcoin. Even after 10 years Cardano will never replace bitcoin. News like this is also happened to other alts too, they said this alt will replace bitcoin and bla bla bla.

It is a really bad idea to compare these two blockchains. You can compare ethereum with cardano, it makes more sense.
This idea is very futuristic but real. The Cardano blockchain is much more functional and progressive than the BTC blockchain. BTC is currently very popular in investment circles because of its huge capitalization and hype Vokrug him. But we should not forget that the future belongs to a quality and innovative product. And Cardano is more perfect than BTC.
I do not think that cardano will beat bitcoin, the king coin, in the next 10 years. In fact, it can never surpass bitcoin in anytime. But I maybe too early to say this as cardano is just a young and bitcoin is old or parent. Cardano has a long way to go in terms of its development. But bitcoin is the first coin and has made much good impression in the people around the world. Given support from the people around the world and the way bitcoin is being accepted, cardano can never beat bitcoin.
