Yes - the change of environment does affect man's psyche - - even in our culture when we have personal or professional loss. People advice each other to each change the town or place of the country - it brings good fortune as well. So staying at one place means being stagnat

With the development of the world of technology it should be able to have a good impact on gambling places because it can make it easier to make transactions at gambling places so more people should be gambling because they can be accessed all over the world with ease from starting deposits and withdrawals which are quite easy , this is an important task for the marketing department and developers to hold events that can attract more people to the gambling place.

Yes, people love to gamble....

The love of risk and the desire to enter into combat with fate is a basic human need.  So it was in ancient times, so it is now. 

Gambling can be considered as a kind of training.  A reasonable person is inclined to systematize everything and create simplified models of the surrounding reality in his brain.

However, these are just models (and not reality). 

Reality is surprise, it is risks, it is uncertainty.  Gambling prepares a person for real life.  That is why people love to gamble.

In my opinion, there is a probability of a gambling addiction being cleansed addiction when he or she was cut off from the internet and everybody he knows that plays gambling, it seems to be like a rehab facility, but for me, it has a different approach inside a rehab facility and in a place with the environment, 1st let's see what may happen for people that are addicted in a

Rehab Facility - In my experience with Rehab Facility well I am not saying that all Facility are like these, but I have a friend that surely is addicted to gambling which made him bankrupt so his family have decided to get him inside one, and on his 5 months being inside a rehab facility he became fat because of overeating but I have notice something when he sees me he eventually asking for money and it went on and 1 and a half year I have returned to visit me, he eventually asks me for money again, I think there is some point that Rehab Facility doesn't have a solution or sometimes it does, but it is just my observation, he was just eating and sleeping in that facility, and can not do a thing, I really think without any activity inside he gets so much bored inside,

Nature Environment place - In this environment, he has no access to internet and no access to the outside world, but there are a lot of things he can do it can be physically, mentally, and spiritually and I have notice a sudden change in my friend approached on me he even ask me to eat with him, I think people needs a lot of activities to eventually redirect him or her towards something different other than gambling,

So I have notice the different that same friend is now enjoying life to his fullest without any gambling at all, but I think every people will surely have different outcome, or we should try all different approach if really needed, and if he is with his loving family that will be very perfect for him,

Gambling is not just only in sport, sometimes Gambling is being played in our local wrestling,  it can be done between two person to predict what may not be related to sport. It is very difficult to go a place where Gambling is not found in one way or the other.  Sometimes we Gamble unknowing to ourselves.

Well, internet really did take part in promoting gambling to become widely known and used by people. Since almost everything is in the internet already, it paved way for easier access and of course, easier promotion of gambling in different websites and platforms. We can't really deny that gambling become more widespread in this modern times but it's also prevalent even way back.

Although for sure, even if the internet would be gone, people will still find ways to gamble to satisfy their need for it. Most especially those people who are already dependent on gambling.

Internet has got nothing to do with it except making it easier for many people to access gambling if they wanted to.A fun example would be from what I have learned from locals where I live that during the communist era that run for near 50 years here people still gambled despite it being illegal and you could get in jail for several years if caught.The gamblers here played at that time near a football club place of training and they were caught by the police who were wearing the uniform of that soccer team and put all of them to jail.This didn't stop as gamblers still continued to gamble no matter these high risks,it means it is true gambling is in our nature and we can't stop it no matter how hard we try.

I absolutely agree with your opinion. The Internet has made gambling more widespread and promoted. But even if there were no Internet we would play cards or dice in the kitchen at night. Mankind has been gambling since ancient times, as evidenced by the dice that have been found more than a thousand years old.

I think you are forgetting something, that gambling existed before the creation of the internet, gambling culture is developing all over the world with different backgrounds, I think from a long time ago there are many people who are addicted to traditional gambling. So I don't think the problem is with technology or the internet. maybe if you say something like : that the current development of the internet is contributing to a bad influence on gambling addiction. I will agree.

But gambling was formed way back ages.

For sure on that time, some people also develop a gambling disorder too.
Ever since gambling was introduced to the world, there's always been a disorder that will happen.

Of course, as technology evolves, the cause of the disorder was also changing.

If we live in times when the internet isn't available then it is impossible to develop a gambling disorder because there is no factor to affect that since you nullified the possibility of outside factors affecting the subject.  But we are in a world where everything is almost done online, this bridges the gap between an individual and the gambling casinos.  If the subject has access to gambling casinos online and plays then there is a chance that the subject will develop gambling problems because he is now actively involving himself in gambling activities online.

I our culture - migration is a very important thing.
PEople do migrate when things are not in their favour from city or from a country. This brings in change of environment and attitude.

An alcoholic cannot see an alcoholic drink because it cannot be controlled, the additions in its symptoms are influenced by the environment, which by the way is the main agent that causes recurrence or those so-called cases of weakness. So Yes! the environment influences the addict, but the person who is healthy does not.

Yes. The influence of environment is the primary character human, you can be gambling free for the environment you stays before and when you leave the environment and entered to the environment that is full of gambling corruption. From what i understand, environment has it own power of influence which it's few people that will escape from environmental influence. You can be a day gambler but due to environment you will become a subsequent gambler

because nowadays human life can no longer be far from a smartphone or laptop/PC device (used for online gambling) so if a gambling addict wants to be completely cured of his addiction, that person must not only change his environment but also try to stop using his smartphone. or laptop/PC for a while. believe.. that the desire to stop gambling (by gambling addicts) is very big, so it needs support from within yourself to be able to stop gambling.

Of course this is possible. Human is a social entity. Person can imitate or inspire the actions of those around him. If a person is addicted to gambling or has a different addiction, the addiction will continue even if person is alone. But if person is in an environment where people who are not addicted to gambling, person will gradually get rid of the addiction. Because people who are not addicted will advise him. Person will want to end its addiction so that person does not feel alone. However, this is not possible if the person is an antisocial gambler. May need treatment.

There will still be a possibility that we will return to looking for a gambling place around our new residence and we may ask people in our neighborhood. We hope to find a casino there, which can happen if we don't have a busy day.

But if we can immediately mingle with the people around us and join in many activities, it will prevent us from thinking about gambling so we won't have time to find where the casinos are around us. This is why we need our families' support to help us change the situation that has happened to us so that we can cure that gambling addiction.

The fact remains that this can be fetched onna two background basis, the first is that if the gambling addiction has turn a negative effext onbthe gambker and people have been seriously complaining about that, then a change in environment could make some difference as it is believed that what we often see frequently we get used to, the other situation is if one get addicted to gambling but the environment one lives is not contributing to his good performance in gambling, then one may try to have a look into another location with better offer and opportunities in gambling, here there's no complaints or negative influence the gamblers generate that may warrant a change in environment but he Willingly seek after that as a better offer.
