You can see now that Crypto is the future, old generation believe in Gold has store of value but as we enter new generation and the exposure to internet, Crypto is taken over. I believe Bitcoin has what it takes to surpass Gold marketcap it is just a matter of time now
Investing in one of the crypto assets I think is more profitable than investing in gold because this is because the bitcoin has easy liquidity. Bitcoin or other alt coins are even more liquid than physical gold because the if at any time we need emergency money, it is easier to buy and sell than gold today, and one more thing that is more profitable for us to invest in cryptocurrency is bitcoin. Or other crypto is better than gold due to its stronger value and faster / more fluid price movements in the exchange market.

In fact, there is no comparison between gold and crypto. Because gold has a shape and form but crypto is a digital currency that cannot be seen. Both are again a means of investment. Gold is a legal and recognized means of investment around the world. On the other hand, cryptocurrency is not legal in most countries of the world. Crypto is more risky than gold, but some cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, are more expensive than gold. So from that point of view I think crypto can be more valuable than gold.

Honestly we are at around half a trillion dollars in marketcap right now. At our peak in 2017 when all alts did ATH (even though bitcoin is close to its ATH, alts are very far away) we were over 1 trillion dollars as a marketcap. When I google what is gold market cap is, it shows about 9 trillion dollars right now, let's say 10 to make it sure.

Crypto world going 20x in the future, and 10x from its ATH doesn't seem that unlikely, obviously gold will go up during that period as well but as we all know gold doesn't grow that quickly and while crypto makes a 20x increase as a whole, gold would probably make 20% at the very best case and still wouldn't be too far away. I say crypto currencies as a whole could pass gold in the next 10 years, not just bitcoin but all market obviously because bitcoin is just half of it, which could pass gold as well but would take a lot longer.

There are 171000 matric tons of gold inside entire world and there are 21000000 total supply of bitcoin. They have a few likenesses. Be that as it may, gold is a commodity and btc is virtual money. In term of price, btc may dominate the race. However, BTC investment may prompt extraordinary level of financial misfortune because of its nature. Volatility is a nature of btc. Also, individuals are not sure if btc will remain or get old. Vulnerability is forestalling mass individuals to receive btc. May be btc won't outperform gold regarding price. They will remain together

I have thought that one key advantage crypto (bitcoin, litecoin, Dash, monero etc.) has over gold is that its supply level is fixed and transparent, but can this or features make crypto more valuable than gold?
Yes, what else should make the cryptocurrency more valuable than gold, if not it total supply and deflationary nature?, this singular move from those initiators makes this technology great. Gold though is good but not compared to digital currencies, these coins which some are decentralized and some centralized makes it good for everyone who want to enjoy privacy and freedom.

Yes, cryptocurrency is a good asset especially bitcoin but there are other good altcoins as well that can be a good asset like ETH and XRP. It only depend on your assessment of which crypto would be a valuable as an asset. This is why risk assessment is very important in cryptocurrency and if you are good in it then definitely you can save a lot of money from crypto as an asset. Again if you will take my advise to go for bitcoin high chance you get a brighter future ahead of crypto as an asset.

cryptoqurrency is one of the most profitable investment alternatives in today's digital world, especially with Bitcoin. Gold on the other hand is often referred to as traditional investment, because real gold investment can generate profits every year. but for me personally crypto is also profitable, even though it is risky, such as prices that can change at any time, in fact crypto has its own appeal for investors.

I have thought that one key advantage crypto (bitcoin, litecoin, Dash, monero etc.) has over gold is that its supply level is fixed and transparent, but can this or features make crypto more valuable than gold?

limited supply, transparancy and privacy is the main advantages from cryptocurrencies
and because of that i believe in the future maybe a the next couple or years crypto will be more valueable than gold

There are many things and aspects that can change the flow of the crypto market and if things would go on crypto currencies side then there's high possibility for a cryptocurrencies to be more valuable than gold specially on today's pandemic situations. People have to stay at their house and do staff online just to make them safe from the virus so the demand for fiat money  have drastically decreased and these affects everything in the physical markets, necessities products have doubled its price due to high demand and low supply, and other products may lowered its price such as gold and jewelry due to decreased demand. But on the other hand as of today digital currencies are most used in every transaction and most of banks have been associated with cryptocurrencies so there will be a high possibilities that crypto currencies will outrun the price of gold in no time.

Gold will forever be the most valuable, therefore it is also called the precious metal, and I think that has also become a natural law.
But if we want our investment to generate big profits, cryptocurrency is a better choice than gold. but of course with a greater risk consequence too.

gold and crypto are both valuable for investment, but they have a difference between gold which is a profitable investment every year in the real world while crypto is also a profitable investment but risky because the value is always changing all the time.

Of course, cryptocurrencies will be more desirable in the future as they will all go digital. But not all cryptocurrencies will be better than gold. Only a good project will do better than gold

Now it is not necessary to own physical gold, as exchanges give us the opportunity to purchase digital gold, which is equal in price. In addition, physical gold is less liquid than its digital counterpart. Unlike gold, cryptocurrency will increase in price significantly more in the coming years.

while gold stocks in this world still exist, gold is still more valuable than cryptocurency and out of necessity there are still many who choose and store gold or as an investment tool for each person
because gold has a shape and form and is legal in every country
unless the stock of gold is running low, cryptocurency is likely as an option to replace gold

Yes, Bitcoin is a deflationary asset (which makes it look like gold).  Bitcoin = 21,000,000 coins. I think that in the future the capitalization of Bitcoin will be equal to the capitalization of gold.

At the same time, Bitcoin has properties that gold does not.  Bitcoin makes it easy to move capital over long distances.

Gold is difficult to store.  Large quantities of gold are difficult to transport.

Only a specialist can determine if gold is counterfeit or not.  Bitcoin doesn't need intermediaries.

Therefore, it is the best asset of the XXI century.

in terms of price, the proof is that there are lots of coins that have a high selling value that exceeds the percentage price of Gold today. let's say this BTC has a high selling value in the crypto market. In the real world of traditional investing, Gold has positive points and many people use it for annual investments.

The value of things especially fiat, gold, and crypto relies only on one reason, that is the demand of the people and their willingness to trade it in exchange for goods and services. I can say, cryptocurrency can be more valuable than Gold if we are going to make fiat as the basis of our judgment. Without the people actively demanding cryptocurrency, it will not have a value just like the thousands of shitcoins we have in the Ethereum blockchain. Also, it will not be definite to compare the value of crypto to gold as we need to designate a standard unit. 1 Bitcoin could be considered but in terms of Gold, it could be 1kg, 1g, 1 bar, or any other unit of measure and the problem is to standardize it.
