I believe this coin (ETH) will be the second coin in coinmarketcap. but I am concerned with some of the issues that are happening right now. Withdraw process requires a lot of gass and the process is slow. this is very annoying Hopefully Hardfork can be a solution.
There's some possibilities that eth can reach btc if just the value but it will be a long long term investment if you would do that
To achieve a price that is comparable to BTC may take a long time for ETH, and to compare prices with BTC it is possible for ETH. All can be seen from the contribution of ETH to the real world with the presence of various kinds of tokens as a means of transactions in the creation of new projects. and almost all tokens using ETH run successfully. This is the power for ETH to be comparable to BTC in the future
I think as first we have to check how market will respond to the POS evolution of ethereum, because also bitcoin is going to apply some development on the chain
i think for me is etherium can reach the value of the bitcoin but it's gonna take a long time to reach the price of the btc.
It's impossible, or maybe its really impossible. We are now experiencing a high load in ethereum blockchain. What if the price of ETH overcome the value of bitcoin? What will to the ethereum network? It will be like a entering a thousands of people in one hole. Maybe ethereum will need to upgrade their system to handle those transaction.

I've been studying the uses of ethereum and bitcoin since I came here. Ethereum has many uses in the crypto world. First, ethereum has been used to fund several projects in ICO. Second, ethereum has been also used as payment wallet of different bounties here in bitcoin. It is worldwide accepted altcoin and more popular than any other one. On the otherhand, bitcoin is only use as a way to exchange into cash. So, in my own opinion, ethereum can exceed bitcoin, soon.Ethereum is cool and I hold it, but don't forget bitcoin is the first one No. 1 since the very beginning.
I believe it is possible Ethereum will surpass Bitcoin, but in terms of market cap only.

I think it will. But it takes a long time for the ETH to reach BTC's value.
2018 would be great for ethereum. ETH is the focus of this year. Trends in 2018 will be the favors of smart contracts. NEO, QTUM has launched a token. Companies have replaced IPO with ICO. This makes smart contract platforms hotter. I believe ETH will do some huge numbers, might not really get to bitcoin price level so soon but it's got huge potential because tokens are built on it and the Ethereum Alliance is huge.
It can, but the marketcap should be more than x10 times higher than what it is right now. In fact, almost all the altcoins can reach X price, but they only need to increase their total marketcap, and if the GLOBAL marketcap of all the cryptos do not increase, ethereum can not reach that x10.
ethereum only can reach bitcoin value if only bitcoin are crash. if not. i dont think a million years ethereum can overtake bitcoin as it the mother of cryptos.. ethereum might be famous for it platform has been used by many ICOs but bitcoin has it own important to all other.
It takes more years to reach the BTC value mate.

Yes it can but it will never surpass bitcoin. ETH is just the same with other altcoin, something good from it is only because it's developer is still active. Bitcoin is still become my favorite cryptocurrency.
Only time will tell if ETH can reach the value of BTC, personally i dont think that i can because of difference in coin cap, BTC is fixed at 21mil, ETH is not

Only if BTC fails. Ethereum needs to be seen as a Hight risk investment in a new technology that nobody knows it could work. ETH will never be seen as a store of value and could in the middle term stop to be seen as a currency.

Bitcoin is the King and will always be. Ethereum is sitting fine in the Queens seat. The Queen would get her head cut off if she ever attempts to dethrone the King. Hahaha!
I think it's imposible to think at that level for now because let's be honest and face the true , it would require a lot of capital to get bitcoin price per 1 ethereum. it's nice to dream about it but maybe eth can go to 10k when bitcoin is already over 50k.
Exactly this is what I think, they will never be 1=1.
