I think that the problem is that people have too big expectations and want to much in too short period of time. There is still possibility to make nice profit but you need to make your own strategy and set up clear goals that are achievable. Still I wouldn't count on getting rich.

Of course, you will get wealthy through bitcoin investment, but you need to hold them for the long term instead of thinking about the short term. In the last, the price of bitcoin is more than 19000$ which makes many people made some decent profit with it. Bitcoin holding will always help us to become wealthy.
