I don't think so that you can trust on Etherdelta with your private key. I suggest you to use Trazor hardware wallet. Trazor hardware wallet is 100% safe and no-one can access your wallet without your consent.Your coins will be always safe in Trazor hardware wallet.

Your private key is stored in browser storage and never leaked over the Internet. Transactions are signed locally and then broadcast.

You can trust this exchange. I used Etherdelta for about 6 month and until now i dont get any problem, This exchange actually good exchange just need more feature. And for me this exchange still safe although was get hacked a few month ago.

I would not trust my private keys to anyone . Security should depend only on you. Just recently, the bancor exchange was hacked, why do you think that  with etherdelta can not happen the same?

You can of course believe it. This is the first decentralized exchange that has been running for a long time and is very convenient. It was only a while ago that I received a hacker attack, but it did not lose the ether and it is still running.

Yes its safe but you have to manage the risk. Open a different wallet and send the token for trading there, sell and delete your private key immediately you are through. As your confidence grows you can permanently leave it there. But just becareful.

I do not understand why I should give my private key anywhere, if I have MetaMask. Yes, Delta is a safe exchange, for 8 months of use I did not notice any problems. But I use MetaMask, it's so convenient and calmer for me.

you should buy ledger nano s hardwallet, with that thing, you only put once private keys in it and never again. It has highest security stuff done while using it for multiple blockchain coins, you will see what a nice security it has, while using it. And it's getting updated for even more coins to support or to upgrade security even further, but I really don't know how would they increase security even more than it is atm, I cannot think of a way.

Etherdelta is safe, if the site you load is the authentic one.
You should just be sure to be not a victim of phishing, I mean, If you find yourself on a fake site, they can steal your private keys. In the other case, happy trading

 p.s. don't forget to byy RACs Smiley https://etherdelta.com/#RAC-ETH

The choice is of course yours, and only yours. But the private key is best not to show to anyone, especially the resources that were once hacked, or have a dubious history. And the rest is your decision, to try your luck or not.

They claim not to store your private keys and the interface is just saved on your browser, but again like previous user stated, metamask would be better way to use it. Though the exchange has lost its charm at current time.

I think EtherDelta is trustworthy. This is a reliable decentralized exchange. But if you're afraid, you can use MetaMask to trade on it.

I ❤ ₿itcoin and Ethereum
I think it can, because the private key that you input is stored on your computer not in etherdelta.com system

for me , if i were you , i will not trust any website with my private keys , unless it recomended , beause its very risky to share your private keys in other websites , maybe its a scam , or its a fake website that can get all you money or coins

I wouldn't either. Private keys are supposed to be kept safe from anyone else. I don't care if it's trusted or not...

For best security use MetaMask. Time to time all exchanges are being hacked. With Metamask you don't transmit your private key to exchange and you can't be hacked

Hello,

I wanted to try etherdelta to trade my tokens.

Can i trust etherdelta with my Private keys ?
Yes you can. All this time I trust etherdelta with my private key. As long as we don't share our private key to others, we don't need to afraid of things that could harm us or afraid of being hacked. I've been doing transactions in etherdelta, it's safe and have never found a problem, just sometimes the slow transaction process

The only way for you to trust etherdelta with your private key is to create a particular wallet dedicated for trading on decentralized exchanges, with that you can use etherdelta and still be safe.

Hello,

I wanted to try etherdelta to trade my tokens.

Can i trust etherdelta with my Private keys ?
Yes but make sure it is a legit EtherDelta link and not a phishing link. Or you can use Metamask so your account will not get compromised. If you are using MyEtherWallet, you can import it to Metamask and you can use the address account in EtherDelta.

now etherdelta is inaccessible, all users are diverted to use forkdelta
The displayed UI is exactly the same as the ED but the page loading speed seems to increase
ED = unsafe
FD = safe
