I created a new address to use on ED and I only use it for airdrops.

Is there a way to see all the coins you have on ED? or do you have to take notes somewhere so you don't forget wich one you have?

Etherdelta is safe as far as I know, but the exchange is not very intuitive and easy to use

I've seen people losing a lot of money by putting in the wrong digits or not realizing what other sneaky ppl r doing

I trust the centralized exchanges more right now

Etherdelta is slow too, you can waste gas easily

I was scared initially as it looks way more insecure than other excahanges, neverthless I have had no issues. Start small build confidence in it, before any big trades

I've used etherdelta for quite some time now. At first I was scared to import my priv keys but after lurking for some time and reading about it I found out that it doesn't keep your private keys stored anywhere.
But if you decide to use etherdelta, make an alt address and trade from there, after that transfer back whatever you bought or ethers you've gathered selling back to your wallet. Keep your privacy.

Hello,

I wanted to try etherdelta to trade my tokens.

Can i trust etherdelta with my Private keys ?

Etherdelta asks you to import your private keys, so that they could verify or input your altcoins balance into their system. I never had a problem with etherdelta and MEW before, so I really think it's secured. You should just avoid posting or sharing your private keys in public.

I have used etherdelta but I did not share my private keys to any other wallet. The only thing they need from another wallet is your deposit address

if they are requiring that set up a new wallet with nothing else in it and do quick transfers

You can automatically create a new ETH address (with a new private key) and transfer only the founds that you need.

If you have a hardware wallet like the ledger nano s you can automatically connect it to etheredelta (100% safe since the private key is never exposed)

Etherdelta is good decentralized exchange for Ethereum based tokens but I wouldn't trust any exchange with my private keys.
You better put your tokens when you trade them but send it to safe ETH address after you finish your job.
