Of course etherdelta is safe exchanger because i always trade with etherdelta and safely received my payment.Private key import i don't like but others no way to trade without import private key.

We know sometime that the era of centralized exchanged is fading away. There are simply just too much hackers and too much counterpart to risk with traditional exchanges. studying and reading information about the platform that we will going to use is a must as for me ED can be trustable to use in terms of exchanging our tokens
its safe from my own experience I do deal with maybe .2btc worth of tokens and it went fast and no problem from my side so in order for me to use the platform
I need to provide my private key I haven't encounter any issue with that.

Use a dedicated address for EtherDelta, transfer only the tokens you want to exchange.

EtherDelta can be trusted but there may be some bug to be exploited and your tokens to be stolen.

Strongly agree. If you are sophisticated investor you should count your own risks at any deal you do. It is too high risk if I trust my private keys to anybody. Don't you think so?

Most of the replied here is positive toward Etherdelta, I have a new token that can only be traded to EtherDelta. I'm uncomfortable to share my private keys, but I had no other option but to try to trade the token to EtherDelta. Hoping this security measure will make a big help.

I use etherdelta for trading and so far no problem, but for security I don't import my main wallet in etherdelta. create a new wallet for use in etherdelta maybe this way is less effective but i think it's safer

Started trading in Etherdelta couple of days ago, till now everything has been fine and my Eth address seems to be safe for now. Also just a tip, I made another ETH address just for Etherdelta trading purpose because i don't trust them that much I would put my main Ethereum address there. Also I'm not leaving big amounts of cash on it when I'm away, because I would rather pay transaction fee, then have all of my money stolen.

Just be safe out there.

Etherdelta is not user friendly platform the main problem with etherdelta platform is hacking my some friends etherdelta account being hacked by hackers. I would advice you always use private window or incognito window to open the etherdelta. & don't share your keys with anyone. I think etherdelta need to work on their security system & add authentication feature to make it more secure.

it better to using on etherdelta to create new an account. Dont using your private keys.

I still think yes and that EtherDelta is a reliable service. The problem is that recently somebody lunch fake the fishing version which looks the same as the original site. I have read that many people are deceived and robbed in this way. Search this forum and you will find a lot of text about it. So be careful.

EtherDelta it's great! It's always the first exchange on list brand new tokens and its interface it's quite nice in my opinion

It's also very safe, so yes, you can trust them Wink

I'm not yet using etherdelta, but this is the most recommend of all eth traders, so I think our private keys are safe. My friends are users of etherdelta so why should I not use? and Where would I find as safe as etherdelta to exchange my token right?

About 8 days ago I was wondering the same, it has a way different feel than regular exchange sites.That's part of the reason I only keep small amounts in there and do small trades. But I have to say that my trust has been grown the past days, fast transactions and as cheap as you would want them to be.

Only downside so far is that when you want to trade, but somebody beat you to it, you can still make the trade only to find out later that your transaction has had a 'bad jump destination'. That has cost me about 9 bucks so far Sad

Mind you, any coins you send to an exchange, they hold the private key of the address you sent it to.

Just create a new one and use it only for ETHDEL.

They are pretty trustworthy as far as exchanges go. That being said, I would never keep a large amount in there. Just put in enough to make the trades you want, and then withdraw it.

Etherdelta is safe to use (just be carefully if you put in an order, double check it, triple check it). Since the ethereum update it is a lot faster and fun to use. If you are worried buy an Ledger nano S, you can use it with Etherdelta.
