It's turtles all the way down!
Have traded multiple coins on etherdelta, never had a problem. Transaction fees aren't bad as long as you're making a good profit with every sell anyways - just save up until you do a big sell off and it will work out.

Etherdelta was used by many traders and all of them entered their private keys and almost all of them does not lost any coins. Also, it was trusted by many traders so I think it is safe.

Hello,

I wanted to try etherdelta to trade my tokens.

Can i trust etherdelta with my Private keys ?

Private key is required in etherdelta to input your wallet balance into the trading site. It's secured so you don't need to worry. I've used etherdelta a lot before, and I haven't had any problems. However, make sure to secure your private key when using it on other sites. I think the only reason for you to give your private key is when you're going to trade and it's required to check your ether wallet balance.

I can stand up for etherdelta to. Never had a single problem with them in terms of security and fund processing. We can try and talk about the exchange functionality, which many will agree it's not one of the easiests to work with because it's not a friendly UI, but in terms of transparency and customer support they are very good and fast.

I have used Etherdelta quite a bit and have had very few problems so far until now.  You can trust it with your private keys and absolutely assured of its safety.

Hello,

I wanted to try etherdelta to trade my tokens.

Can i trust etherdelta with my Private keys ?

Well yeah

If i am not mistaken base on my understandings

Basically when you import the private key to ED, it is not moving the key into the ED side but more on the client site

What they do is basically moving coins from both party to an ED contract and then this is how the deals is made and coins return to the owner.

They don't access have access to your priv key IIRC

Never had issues on etherdelta although it is a bit confusing to setup. Dont think they have your private keys to begin with but rather they are open for you to see which if you dont protect correctly could get taken down. On

that note also change the gas intial settings from 8 to 16-22 because 8 is really slow and stuff gets stuck a lot you want to have smooth transactions. Other than that keep as minimal money on there as possible, for myself I

only keep roughly $25 dollars there when not using it.

No problems on EtherDelta so far, but it might be a good idea to only keep a small amount of ETH in the wallet you are using on the exchange, just in case something happens.

You can't trust anyone and anything then you mention private key. Nobody should know it. Otherwise it won't be only yours Wink Just make one more wallet for trading and import its private key.

Definitely no, you cannot trust etherdelta. You shouldn't trust etherdelta. You can use it by safest method. Get new wallet and use its private key & pass. So you can sleep well at nights. No risk involved.

Can i trust etherdelta with my Private keys ?

In general I think yes. The last time I traded on EtherDelta I used the MetaMask Chrome plugin. I'm not sure whether this increases security, but I believe that this plugin simplify the logging process.

Etherdelta is a safe place. They are not storing your private keys. I am using Etherdelta from begining and never had any problems.
make sure you set gas limit to 21 then everything will work like a charm.
How long have you been using Etherdelta?

Yes Etherdelta is safe place till date as it's a place where traders can trade their ERC20 Token which are allocated with particular Ether address.

To access trading and making transactions it needs private keys. With private keys user can enter into network and perform activity. Not only this platform but even Stellar also have build such wallets as well as trading platform which can be accessible with private keys/secret keys.

Etherdelta is not in the custody of users' privatekey! Every users' private key is interacting with smart contract. That is the reason they call such exchange decentralized platform! No central guys deciding how much fee you will be charged etc. So go ahead and trust the smart contract and miners!
