Altcoins threats to Bitcoin is far away from the truth , altcoins can not threaten bitcoin because there are quite number of scam ICO,s and this is increasing a lot and more over in some country you can only cash out your money through Bitcoin,meaning you can find company's buying bitcoin and paying you in fiat currency.

altcoins can not interfere with bitcoin. because they are different things, and they perform different tasks. bitcoin is a transaction, and altcoins are different programmable coin

There are so many coins five years ago and until now but still Bitcoin loard it over all these coins, I don't think those altcoins are a thread although few altcoins are doing great contributing to the community, but investors prefer to be in a safe side and invest to a true decentralized coin.
Bitcoin exists for many years now and not even any altcoin become a threat to bitcoin existence. Some altcoins at first were good but eventually some of it has become zero value. So, until these days bitcoin is on top of all crypto and no other coins serves a threat. Yes, I think it will have an effect in bitcoin rise but it will also help to give bitcoin a support in the future, imagine the long run of bitcoin in crypto markets, It always stays on top and never let us down, Bitcoin started from scratch , I think it will stay even if there are so many altcoin's , some of them will also depend on the price of bitcoin.

I guess the launch of many ICOs and altcoins nowadays would never harm Bitcoin. We have already witnessed for 10 years how self dependent and dominant Bitcoin is and also how this many altcoins died. Bitcoin will stay as the leader of the pack as it has already been the pioneer of cryptocurrency.

I don't think that too many Altcoins can threaten the existence of Bitcoin, but many scam Altcoins will slow down the rate at which people will want to adopt cryptocurrency

Regardless of how the altcoin develops, it can not beat bitcoin because in the electronic money market, bitcoin accounts for more than 50% of the market.

Maybe yes, if many altcoins turn to scam coin it will destroying cryptocurrency popularity in general, and bitcoin as a first cryptocurrency will get bad impact too

I don't think number of altcoins will be a problem for bitcoin and its price but lot of scam projects may harm the total crypto market that is why lot of people are not much interested to invest on bitcoin because 2018 have too much of scam ICOs.But the legit altcoins not harming the bitcoin anyway because we can see that the dominance of bitcoin is half of the total market cap.

I do not think there will be any danger to Bitcoin from the other coin. Because Bitcoin is a major coin in the crypto market. Yes, there is a slight difference to Bitcoin when the new coin arrives in the crypto market.

here opinion is shared. altcoins are useful in solving smaller problems. but the negative, which is growing due to the fraudulent use of altcoins, has a bad impact on the trust in bitcoin. while bitcoin is firmly on its feet, at the expense of its developers and enthusiasts who believe in it.

I don’t think Alternative coins can become a threat to bitcoin. Bitcoin had been on the top of the Market for so long and the market value could prove it that it is indeed the strongest crypto and no one could still pass through its value it is too far away compare to other coins and I think it would be harder to altcoins to reach that.

Also, with a lot of altcoin in the market, Bitcoin is the most traded crypto currency still. Thousands of altcoins are being circulated in the market and Bitcoin is still in the top being followed by the altcoins. It may be of use to Bitcoin since Bitcoin can adapt to some crypto currencies since I've read something in the past that some of the feature of other currencies are being used to Bitcoin.

Every altcoin has its goal and ideology behind it. Bitcoin alone cannot fulfill the vast usability of the Blockchain technology. The numerous altcoins and Bitcoin complement the goals of each other and all head towards the central goal of the crypto.

Bitcoin has already achieved great popularity and it will be difficult for any altcoin to surpass it. This can happen if bitcoin does not solve the problems that have and investors dont be interest in this.
