Many did believe that its the end for crypto in 2018 ,after the last bullrun a huge pack of bears take over the market and all haters are hailing 'its the end' for crypto but now 2019 has proven them all wrong ,I have couples of them saying they want to join and I still show them the way though,crypto is here to stay
Indeed a lot of projects failed in 2018 which were quite disturbing for investors. That's the nature of cryptocurrency. Its all about risks. You don't need to stay down when things don't turn out your way. There's still hope. Be optimistic. Move on.

Its a great pleasure to see something you believe in move forward and succeed. There are people out there who never thought crypto will last, who thought it will end soon. But here we are rejoicing that things have turned out successfully for crypto enthusiasts and investors.
the best thing about Crypto is that we face it calmly, because it's not always a good trip.we must be confident and eager to continue well, because faith will bring goodness if you remain optimistic, because Crypto can still be profitable.

Now, with the ICO boom in 2017 bringing forth many projects with "unrealistic" visions and others with "imaginary" problems that never existed, and amidst the numerous scams many people predicted that Blockchain, Crypto and Bitcoin will die but they didn't (at least in 2018). Though we had a really rough and tough 2018 but here we are again. I have realized recently that the conversation has shifted towards new perspectives (Ethereum new forks, Bitcoin upcoming halving, new blockchain developments, etc).
So can we now boldly put the haters and naysayers to shame now. Crypto is here to stay. We are not going to die. Happy new year guys!

They say that an optimist would be an optimist and a pessimist would be pessimist. This means that if you thing crypto has no value and no importance, you would not even spend a penny in crypto but if you think it is million dollar worth, you would spend the said money to own and use it. So if there is a perception that Bitcoin is going to die, that is just a perception and not reality.
After 2018, this year is just wonderful. There are no ups and downs. But the most important thing this year is not to leave people because there is a desire and a reason to stay here.
Indeed 2019 has been a very wonderful year for me. Personally, I classify it as a bull run because most of the coins I HODL during the bear period have been rising significantly and am making huge profits from them.

if there is indeed a technology that is better than cryptocurrency and easier to use then it is the right thing to say we have to move to new technology, but until now the reality is that bitcoin will not die despite a very sharp drop in prices, even most many countries believe that bitcoin is an advanced technology that must be developed even though the regulation is still difficult to obtain by most countries for the people who can use it
Those people who keeps on telling that bitcoin/cryptocurrency will gonna die or a bubble probably don't really did their due diligence in this technology. Or they are very desperate to spread FUDs on the community to bring the price down and they will buy a huge chunk in a lower price.
There are different people, someone believes someone does not.
Smart people believe in growth when the price is still small. As a result, they buy at a small price and can sell at a large.
Stupid people do not believe in growth until the last moment and they begin to buy when the price has almost reached its peak. As a result, when the price starts to fall again, they again remain at a loss.
