If the governments of different countries unite the ambition, then theoretically they will be able to end crypto forever. However, I do not think that this is in their own interests. Potentially a crypto market can be a way out of a deep financial crisis
We do not hear about this temporarily, you understand that very soon people will still think about why, after the integration and regulation of the SEC, the crypto-currency world still continues to live and, moreover, it starts to grow, it seems to me that the regulation will continue on a larger scale.

I think many Governments have already realized that they can not ban cryptocurrencies. Therefore, they decided to make the most of this market through taxes. And for the rest of the population to speak through all information channels how dangerous is investing in cryptocurrencies.

Governments cant kill drugs which have physical form for centuries.
So they won't be able to kill cryptos, but they sure can criminalize them. Stupid enough to be implemented by govts.
True killing crypto is a bad idea i think, its a joyful way to those people who earns money through crypto, better kill only those people who made bad doings like drugs, murderers but not this crypto innoscents.,only they can manipulate and have some several laws by this.

We all saw how cryptocurrency rates declined after the G20 summit. Although no serious decisions about the fate of cryptography was made. It seems to me that this fact shows well how the value of cryptocurrencies depends on regulation by the state. Therefore, I believe that the government will not be able to kill crypto, but to reduce their influence and value easily.

"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it".  The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks
Nice article in my own humble opinion government can only regulate the use of cryptocurrencies but they cant kill it,because other countries has already seen the good things which cryptocurrency offers, most of the countries that banned cryptocurrency activities like ICOs,trading are the ones who are in the power which clearly why they dont want cryptocurrency, decentralization will make people's freedom to transact anonimously which would have some negative impact, the government will find it hard if someone has done illegal activities like smuggling plus these transactions are not being taxed, which is the main reason why they are making their move to stop the cryptocurrencies adoption.

Thanks for the great article. In my own opinion also, it is hard by the government to kill cryptocurrencies because people mostly in the communities were truly believed it already due to of the good benefits they acquired. They can't really stop peoples choices means of living. For instance, in our country that we are in democratic society that makes people have a freedom of choice as long as it is in a good doings and not committed dis-obedience by laws provided by the government. It is really hard for them to kill people choice. But it depends of the country where you belong.

No, they can't kill Crypto. Because this is digital currency and they can't control it, thats why they can't kill it. Also crypto has appeared not so far and this is also new for government, they are studying about it too.

They cannot kill crypto because it is decentralized and no one owns it. They can ban it but i a specific country but other country that needs it badly will not let it happen. The only way the government can do is to adopt the technology because even the government agency needs it too.

Killing as the profanation of the idea as is. Non-privacy. KYC for all. Total control and regulation. But fully to kill is stupid. If you can not win - head. All simply. And we see today that's all
Developers will find a loophole to circumvent the law in many countries, including China and the United States. I think the total control will only exacerbate the free circulation and investment of funds.

It is a probability and on the grounds that the majority of the Crowd take after governments and broad communications, crypto will move toward becoming something of a little cutting edge specific market soon just for some intrigued financial specialists and digital money aficionados. It as of now has gone to pre 2018 levels and will backpedal to July levels in light of present conditions. So fundamentally we have lost a time of benefits now, for every one of us that held reliably to our coins and crypto possessions. I don't see a brilliant future right now for the crypto dependable, it is being controlled by the enormous powers that be, so excessively numerous of us got captured out.

The High Court of Delhi has issued a notice to India's central bank over its order barring banks from engaging with cryptocurrency services, following a petition from a bitcoin exchange operator.

How can the government kill Cryptocurrency through regulations?
I do not think this will happen, although many countries reject Cryptocurrency you should also know that many countries support Cryptocurrency, like Japan (developed countries).
In addition to the government's refusal, in fact, many Crypto users keep trading / investing with Cryptocurrency.
So as long as Cryptocurrency is still an interest for many people, Cryptocurrency will remain forever.

What they can make or was made still, is to make monetary system or rules to watch the people using cryptocurrency. Otherwise everything that is based on the Internet, can't be simply reduced by the governments. More and more people are involved in cryptocurrency, her popularity has grown so highly that the governments won't try to be mistaken, having completely forbidden cryptocurrency which will have big consequences from the user of cryptocurrencies

Doubt very much they can kill it, because most government leaders use crypto currencies and they profit from them. The biggest investors in the world are mostly from Asia so why would they want to kill it.

To control the bitcoin network, the government will have to find users first. And if it still succeeds, then there should be at least 51% of users in the country. The advantage is that the more users appear in bitcoin, the stronger the network becomes. If already in 2017 the idea of taking control of users in a single country seems a rather dubious task, then in 5-10 years it will, in principle, be impossible.
