Yes being a professional investors and traders can get more profits whether the market is going down or up. Because likewise you said eventhough the market is down a lot of experts people predict the it has a rescinding or market could it back again. So if you have more knowledge about the possibility of price that people can manipulate price you don't need to scare and panic.

I Ithink if we are going to trade on the status of huge dip. Maybe we can gain but only a verry few amount of profit, bit if we are going to buy and hold maybe we can earn but we need many more time to wait.
