For now Cardano has not been able to threaten Ethereum from prices or ratings too far. All things can happen in the future without us knowing the fate of Altcoin, even so I still doubt Cardano is able to compete with Ethereum whose quality does not need to be doubted. The threatening coin Ethereum is XRP, Ethereum has been captured several times by XRP. I hope that in the future all coins will be better and more stable

It seems to me that in most cases all these conversations are reduced only to the fact that someone gives out wishful thinking. There are no prerequisites for any other platform ahead of the ethereum. If now we still wait for the update of Constantinople and really see the scaling of the block chain, this will attract investors to erc-20 even more.

cardano certainly a good coin , but I do not believe that it will be able to replace the Ethereum , but I think there are better coins that are strong competitors than ada , so I don't believe in the coin

I laughed hard when I saw the title of this thread, there are some blockchain that are real threats to ethereum but Cardano is not one of them and I doubt that it would be one of them even in the future.

It is unlikely that I think that ada will be able to replace Ethereum, Ethereum has a very big future and this coin is the first coin to create an ico platform , I think now it is necessary to choose projects for investment very carefully

Article is always subjective and it will not be entirely relevant to judge something just based on a subjective approach. I think cardano is not bad coin with its good team and technology. But ethereum is not that much bad. It is not that ethereum has lost its charm and relevance just based on its price declining. You can best study critically both ethereum and cardano to find which is the best.

Ethereum aims to build an ecosystem where all kinds of cryptocurrency and service are being made and used.
Think about if you are short of resources to make mainnet but you can make it by erc20!

Don't fight with Ethereum anymore, it is another class and one of the most important ecosystem where cryptocurrency can be alive  

Instead of Cardano in title you can put anyone blockchain project, but reality shows us, that ETH still only one project, which really works fine and their progress going forward. 

That's certainly true, mate. No other Ethereum alternative has been able to gain widespread adoption and popularity as Ethereum. They may have better features, and lower costs than Ethereum, but they lack usage in the mainstream world. I believe that's so, because Ethereum has been the first cryptocurrency to bring smart contracts to the world. Of course, EOS and Cardano are new cryptocurrencies with just a few years of development. But even if they continue to improve over time, Ethereum will always be the leader.

Saying that Cardano will destroy Ethereum, is like saying that a "copy" will destroy the original project. Considering how Ethereum was the very first blockchain to implement and make use of smart contracts, it's the original project for decentralized applications. All other alternatives (whenever they've forked from ETH or they have code from scratch) are considered copies because they mimic Ethereum's smart contract functionalities. In no way, Cardano or any other smart contract platform will be able to overcome Ethereum in the future.

However, Cardano with its slow development, could grow into a full-fledged blockchain platform for dApps that's resilient, stable, and secure for the world. Only then, it could be comparable to the likes of Ethereum, as developers and individuals adopt it. So far, Cardano has been keeping up with its development roadmap which means that it has a bright future ahead of it.

Nonetheless, time will tell us whenever Cardano will truly survive among a competitive market or not. Just my opinion

No way! Cardano isn't a cool blockchain, they won;t have mass adoption and for me cardano isn't a good investment. Nobody knows what are they developing.

I fully subscribe to Your words! It is quite possible that Cardano has small advantages of the coin in this market, and it is quite possible that this coin can be a good investment vehicle. But if we talk about the competition and the destruction of the Ethereum, in my opinion it is too funny and stupid. Cardano project is still quite young and is not as popular and promising as Ethereum!

EOS is supposed to be the ethereum killer but that never happened because distribution is not good enough to spread it to a wide enough community. Cardano has a better model but their development is slow, we'll have to see what happens later this year on how the major releases go

Cardano cant to destroy ethereum, in crypto thechology is not the only one that affects. Many factors that influence such as community, team, application etc, But most influential in my opinion is community. So even cardono techology great, cant destory ethereum. See bitcoin, so many new proyek with great concept but no one can destroy it same like ethereum

This is just an assumption, it is through that cardino is good project and has a great future but is not up to extend of destroying ETH

Yeah, I think they give points that they feel they've developed more than ETH. But overall, that's not a big step, all other blockchain projects still can't pass ETH in the present.

XRP won't be used by any bank.

Can we talk about real cryptocurrencies again 

Many token have claimed to surpass ETH even EOS have said that statement but still none of them showing any potential to be greater than ETH, Cardano is good in its own way but basing your opinion with a single article is bit too much.

I don't know if I don't think that for cardano can destroy ethereum, each of these coins has advantages and supports, cardano is still under ethereum, and in the future nobody knows what will happen between these two coins

I dont think no altcoin will ever destroy the ethereum even if it was a great company which can make similarity to ethereum. ethereum still on below the bitcoin.

I think it will be very hard to out run ETH because it establish its platform already and for me its one of the best platform
