Exactly. There's no way Cardano or any other cryptocurrency could replace Ethereum, since Ethereum is extremely popular and actively traded on the market. Since it has first mover advantage just like Bitcoin, it has managed to stay as the second largest cryptocurrency by market cap to date. However, I do believe that Cardano will rise to the point where it could become closer to Ethereum in terms of development and innovation. Right now, Cardano is in its baby steps as it develops into a complete smart contract platform for developers to create dApps on it.

It may take some time before we could see Cardano being useful in crypto land, as its only purpose in the moment is for sending/receiving payments. Once Cardano's VM is up and running, and the ADA cryptocurrency begins the staking phase, expect to see a lot of traction gaining on the Cardano platform as a solid smart contract platform for individuals, businesses, and developers alike. As you said, XRP cannot replace Ethereum, simply because it's centralized and highly manipulated within the cryptocurrency market. In addition, it's not a smart contract platform whereas Ethereum is both a cryptocurrency and a smart contract platform which is decentralized.

Nevertheless, time will tell us what lies with the future of Cardano as a solid contender against Ethereum within the cryptocurrency market. Just my opinion

Ada is good coin but i don't think it can destroy ETH,ETH is strong and potential coin,not any coin can destroy it.ETH will have bright and good future.it will make people who hold it not disapointed

A lot of people are optimistic that cardano will surely destroy ethereum. let me tell you its not happening anytime soon. Ethereum has a market share which has captured on basis of its technology and ethereum network. Its founder and dev team are working hard that it does not lose out to others.

Carado is going to be very competitive and has a good potential but it will nor overcome Ethereum

ETH already has a lot of competitive opponents, so I don't think they care a lot. The gap between ADA and ETH is still very far. It is good to have confidence, but it is too early to say that destroying ETH.

Cardona which is ADA this is a Chinese coin and it is a very great coin and one for the future it price is not bad and it will still do more but ethereum is the second most valuable coin right now in the cryptocurrency world so I do not think Cardona can destroy ethereum

I think that the strong competitor of the Etherium is EOS. He really has many advantages.

the defense owned by Ethereum is able to maintain the price and development of Ethereum. so that it will be very capable to produce far greater profits. even though the development of Cardano, which has shot up, will not shake Ethere's defense.

Cardano may be a high prospect coin. But I don't think it can actually destroy Ethereum as assumed here. The greatest rivalry in my opinion is waves which even cannot destroy Ethereum either.

Yeah, as we notice cardano look interesting and has a strong technical background, but I guess it takes a long period of year before etherium will totally destroy.

I think the Ethereum price might fall to deep but it is not necessary for cardano to destroy ethereum. I think it is still so far for its performance to surpass ethereum.

i have not seen cardano product, only rumors about it. So where can I try cardano product?
How did you decide that it overcome ethereum, if nobody use ada,as they are in developing process?

Maybe Cardano will, maybe it won't.there's an opinion that Cardano's not so promising and has demerits, e. g. the speed of working on projects is too slow, so we won't see a leap in the nearest future!

I agree with your opinion, because in my opinion Ethereum is very doubtful now, it happens because Ethereum's price continues to fall and is difficult to increase, and Ethereum's decline can reach 4x even more than the end of 2017 price.

In what way cardino will destroy Ethereum, of course, eth price decreased a lot in the market and it doesn't mean other coins will defeat the ETH. Look at the market situation the prices of altcoins kept declining in the market.

I love ADA but not to the point that it will destroy ethereum . In my opinion even xrp at rank 3  cannot replace ethereum . We all know market is not good now and ethereum is one of crypto which is suffering to much but still positive that one day it will increase .

I call that a normal volatility for ETH, maybe you are underestimating ETH because it just go down and currently at the bearish trend but cardano is no different, eth going to $150 still up for thousand percent while cardano is sinking from $0.8 to $0.2. Investment wise, both equally volatile.

Why not? You know Cardano is a very good project. do you know ethereum prices are now on the market? Are you sure your ethereum will survive? Cardano might not be as popular as ethereum. but currently ethereum is not the best choice either.
