Until now I was still convinced that ethereum was better than Cardano, hundreds of projects based on ethereum and having success certainly made ethereum popular and could stay in second place and maybe be number # 1 someday.
Your forgot about Binance, its not losing value in terms of USD even in the bear market it was very stable.
True Binance is not losing value and I agree in future binance's market cap could rise above ETH but I doubt it will be able to kill ETH.
No, never. Ether has the best development team in the blockchain industry. The network is the most decentralized, the most recognizable (besides bitcoin) and the most secure. There is no and there will be nothing better than the ethereum.

Since my time in crypto I have seen many Ethereum killer project but none of them could ever come close to killing to it.

That's certainly true, mate. Perhaps, none of the alternative smart contract platforms have been able to overcome Ethereum because they're not well-known within the mainstream world. Not to mention, their degree of development and innovation is far lesser than Ethereum's. Of course, there are still good projects out there which have the potential of changing our world for the better. Cardano is a good example of this. But, without mainstream adoption, it will remain behind Ethereum for many years to come.
Still though, Cardano has a great development team behind it, as well as, a brilliant leader (Charles Hoskinson). The cryptocurrency project may be slow in progress, but it's been delivering as promised since launched. Eventually, we'll be able to see Cardano head-to-head against Ethereum within the future if it keeps progressing as it is right now. However, it'll never destroy Ethereum because of the many reasons stated before. Just my thoughts

Yes right, I'm sure that ethereum will continue to be king of altcoins because of the support of third parties, namely tokens and exchanges, of course the trend of using ethereum will continue to increase, making it difficult to defeat Ethereum.

Everyone knows, while ADA is widely developing its smart contracts platform thanks to the new programming language, Ethereum has long been on the market with a long and proven history, and most importantly reliable.It would be hard to beat such a large network.

Cardano will never destroy ethereum or even any altcoin. Cardano is cardano and Ethereum is Ethereum, why 1 altcoin want to destroy other altcoin lol. Cardano is still can't reach ethereum, it's like cardano still a baby born and etheruem is like a grown up man. It takes years to reach ethereum place. Ethereum is the future. There's no coin that achieved as much as Ethereum in the last year. Though the price were frustrating, Ethereum went through several improvements and is one of the most dynamic coin of this time. Ethereum would be a good investment for the near future.
That's certainly true, mate. Compared to other smart contract platforms, Ethereum is still the best one in existence today. There's no doubt about it. For what I've seen, many alternatives have focused on their features/technology instead of promotion, marketing, and usefulness of their blockchain networks. This is the reason why Ethereum is still in the lead, despite being inferior in terms of transaction capacity and fees relative to other cryptocurrencies.
On the other hand, Cardano is better than Ethereum (from a technical point of view), but it doesn't stand a chance against it because Ethereum has strong developer support, and it's trusted by many individuals worldwide. Nearly all of the ICO tokens launched rely on the ETH blockchain than any other to date.
Still though, Cardano is a good cryptocurrency with many prospects to become a solid platform for daily use. Over time, it could become as strong as Ethereum, living alongside its contender for many years to come. However, it will never destroy Ethereum because of the many reasons stated before. Therefore, I believe that ADA and ETH will better suit their purpose as separate smart contract platforms for the world. Just my opinion

We've been seeing these new kids token to destroy Ethereum for years now but Ethereum had kept evolving while these tokens are barely surviving. Though some like EOS had an impressive growth, they are still very far from what Ethereum has already achieved and with the release of Ethereum 2 and POS, Ethereum is going to rule them all. It would soon become the largest coin by marketcap.
Well given that Cardano was created by one of the developers of ethereum it doesn't mean its possible that it can surpass ethereum. Ripple already attempt but it never won ethereum still is the king of altcoin.
No way! Cardano doesn't have any chance to beat ethereum simply because this blockchain hasn't development and I don't know any person using cardano technology
I don't know which interesting thing they can see in Cardano that they come out with this prediction! But what I see is Cardano's popularity is not increasing, it's value will be decreasing like the NEM and NEO coin! Cardano is not capable to compete with the Ethereum. Ripple overtook the Ethereum's rank several times, but no crypto expert said that XRP is better than ETH. The rank is not everything, Ethereum has a better network and development than Cardano and ETH platform is the largest in the crypto industry!
I think, Cardano is a valuable project but even still if this project is a competitor of ETH, Ethereum continues to be the most popular project in among competitors of in crypto market. I believe, next years Ethereum will continue to leading with in the competition in crypto market.

One thing is sure, Cardano is one of the good coins in the crypto space with good use case and wonderful team, but saying it will bring down ETH is what I don't agree with. ETH has set itself apart to build a more better and stronger blockchain world, of which everyone is seeing from the features the team is working on.
To me, it will be hard or impossible for any altcoin to beat ETH on the long run.
