Hey guys, is there anyone who has invested in this right from the ICO ?
I feel a little stranded... This coin is more and more looking like an outright vapour and scam to me. There is little news or updates, and the team is creating fake news stories in the media (on their own website no less).
http://news.cashaa.com/cashaa-and-prime-minister-of-india-work-to-help-the-unbanked-and-underbanked/This is a conference but cashaa tries to make it sound like this coin and the PM of india are working together. Lol. Such lies, and on their own website. This is not incompetence, this is basically fraud.
I am thinking of instituting a criminal complaint in India against the persons involved in this scam so that the assets can be frozen by the courts here.
Recently in India there has been a series of high profile financial frauds so I wont be surprised if this was another of those cash grabs. Blockchain gives it a different angle, however I am not convinced of the credentials of the team.
If they are creating fake stories about a partnership with the PM of India, then there surely is more lies stated by the team elsewhere that needs to be uncovered.
What is the community's thoughts on this? Some of the investors funds can be recovered using legal means as currently there is a lot of attention on financial crimes in India and a criminal complaint on this coin will surely result in an investigation by the government agencies.
Thanks
Ask yourself this...
After everything you just said, do you think this is the group of people that are going to rewrite how the remittance industry works? Is this team actually capable of taking over a huge part of the banking system? Do you really think after what you realize about the team right now, that anything is going to change, and they will magically become truthful people, interested in changing the world for the better? Does it make more sense that they made millions of dollars in bitcoin/ethereum, then millions on CAS tokens, and probably will never do anything with Cashaa? Is it weird they call Kumar one of the 100 most influential people in blockchain, and he has no followers on twitter or facebook? We got burned, I dunno where all these people come from who hype this project like no tomorrow. Its like they magically have more information than the rest of us, and just know Cashaa will be a success, or they are in on the scam. Either way, I am holding my worthless tokens, and always on the lookout, if I ever see Kumar or Blockchain girl...
That is exactly my thinking here. This sounds very much like a scam, and investors should get together to obtain justice.
India has strict no tolerance for financial fraud, recently several blockchain based scams like bitconnect (but with local names) were all busted, people were thrown in jail, the laws allow for liquidation of assets to pay back investors.
About roadmap, I have seen some other coins not stick to it, sure there are times when the roadmap isnt followed all the time and some leeway time can be given no problem, but the cashaa team is making false promises and false stories, that is very unacceptable for me.
I really got triggered seeing that post I linked with PM of India, it shows what this team is trying to do i.e. cause hype based on rumours
The team has lied several times which is shocking.
There are no updates, no one knows what is happening since the ICO. Some fake events are being created to generate hype
If this is the situation, we should create a group of users to arm ourselves legally for getting to the root of the issue.
Again if its a big scam, financial crime like this is not tolerated in India at all... currently there is a big spotlight of thieves stealing money from people by fake means.
