For me, the cashless society is total loss of freedom. From this point the person is completely under control. For spending of your funds you can determine everything from your habits to determine what brand of cigarettes you prefer. You can calculate your place of residence, etc.

Have you ever wondered how would the world's economy be like in the future as a cashless society?

Perhaps, with the increased traction of blockchain acceptance nowadays, could lead to the creation of digital fiat currencies powered by blockchains that are managed by governments themselves. With this in mind, there would be no need for physical cash, as digital fiat currencies would provide many advantages such as quick settlement, global payments, full transparency, implants use on citizens to make payments, and more.

If this becomes a reality, which I'm sure that it will, it would radically transform our lives for the better and reduce criminal activity as a result of the full transparency and auditability that a digital fiat currency would have thanks to the power of the blockchain technology.

Also, it makes me wonder if cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin would exist by that time, or will they co-exist with digital fiat currencies.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this.  Wink

In my opinion about this cashless society  means world  will have one monitoring person controler. If theres no more cash digital money will come out.And yes your right implants can be used for quick resultS to all global settlements. That in short we can have one currency, one technology that all nations will unite for a ONE WORLD GOVERMENT.

now bitcoin has changed the life of a normal person now everyone is able to do something for his future .cashless society is possible around us but not totally cashless it will be because a society builds from people and people are not less in number at all so its not easy to be cashless now.

I agree with you in the sense that Bitcoin has changed the life of a normal person. With it, there is no need for physical cash but just wallets within any of your devices. Wherever there is a merchant that accepts Bitcoin, you would just pay in a virtual way without handing in real cash. In that part, we're already cashless.

However, I believe that at some point in the future, everyone would get access to the internet, and governments would adopt blockchain technology to design a digital fiat currency of their own for this purpose. As we're advancing in technology, being cashless is the way to go not only because it brings convenience, transparency, and fast payments, but also eliminates the need for printing physical money which is not environmentally safe.

With a cashless society, everything would be much more efficient and it will become a much cleaner solution for our environment. Just my opinion. Smiley

If that happens the difference between social classes also would be bigger. How can a poor person can afford those elements?

No, there will be no distinction between classes in society, decentralization is an impossibility for bitcoin users, it is unreasonable and unnecessary.
that's right there will be no distinction as we knew that bitcoin was created to have fair system its depend how poor people will strive to look
for the ways how to earn bitcoin but lets should face the reality that this system really build for fairness and not only for those who can afford.

A cashless society is a nightmare for the people and good for the governments, because then they can fully control you. The government can put you on a blacklist if your personal opinion is not in accordance with their opinion.

It is a nightmare for us because they can track every transactions that we are going to do and they can even disable your account if they want to.

This is very bad for us but we can't do something as the government is going to push this type of society soon.

And they'll deceive people that this will be convenient.
cashless society will make a chaos in the country that it will be implemented because the freedom will be no longer than applied if that happen because the handwork to earn money will be abolish in that state and I agree that will be a nightmare for all of us.
It won't be chaos. In fact, a cashless society scares people because it will be harder to evade paying taxes. To state the lack of Fiat only facilitate the work. Until bitcoin is not recognized it will save us from taxes in any situation and so I have great hopes for bitcoin.
I agree,
With cashless cociety happening, in first time maybe the chaos can see everywhere if not have ready from people and preparation from goverment. But if all people are ready and go to use a type replace FIAT as crypto or digital cash, I think the chaos can't happens

If that happens the difference between social classes also would be bigger. How can a poor person can afford those elements?

Perhaps prices of using those elements and payment processors are going to be cheaper too and will be brought down to meet every social class of people without discrimination.
If you look upon the government of different countries, very few don't make discrimination. Most of the government always makes the rich get more rich, poor go poorer. This can be changed with bitcoin, but every people need to have basic education. In all aspects governments were the one responsible for the lack of development in the country.

And what do you expect these poor people do here? Spam the forum for signature campaign earnings? I really doubt that bitcoin is the answer to all economic problems. You are poor because you are dumb or lazy or both. Don't blame the government for the things happening to you. If you're hard working enough, you will learn things that will enable you to earn money. It honestly doesn't cost any money to learn a new skill. Start very low. Learn how to read, then read stuffs from books, then read tutorials from the Internet. You can even learn from the members of your family. Skills aren't that hard to acquire.

Get a skill, get a job, then that's it. You're not poor anymore. Where's the government on that? It's all about you and the things that you do to get out of poverty. It's not about bitcoin or the government's actions

As you likely know, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence

Other than that, you are essentially repeating what Bill Gates is reported to have said. He said that if you are born poor it is not your mistake, but if you die poor it is. The problem is Bill Gates wasn't born poor himself, he wasn't born in poverty and misery, so he has no genuine understanding how things stand in real life, and thus he possibly can't make any such claims in the first place. Basically, Bill Gates is just a theorist (in these matters). And what about you?

I think the cashless society is only in developed countries and rich countries because they provide enough services, tools, and means to reach that distance. As for poor countries, developing countries, they are not eligible for access to digital money, ATM cards, bank cards, debit cards, etc. So they will still be Cash
Cashless society means that it is passed through government, accounts become transparent, they tax, control people's income, even investigate cross-country transactions. together. These things lose the essence of Bitcoin

Bitcoin is never user-centric and will never change. The bitcoin of the present is an excellent work. It deserves respect and holds. Do not for shallow thoughts that break it.

If that happens the difference between social classes also would be bigger. How can a poor person can afford those elements?
First and foremost any government must provide better job and opportunities rather than   shovelling things into poor peoples mouth ,if the difference in social classes widens then crime rate increases, government should know and understand these basics first before thinking about cashless society.
One does not exclude the other. The government has long been making preparations for the cashless society. We still do not notice. In a cashless society, the role cash will play the gold. So I think the price of gold will rise.

Its very hard to turn the world totally into cashless society. We could get lessons from what happened in india  and venezuela after banning of high value notes. They thought that all people would change to digital transactions. But it didnot happen.Despite suffering, people stayed using paper currency continuously.More people are still unaware of digital transactions. They don't even have a credit or debit card.So its hardly impossible to convert this world immediately into a cashless society.

Believe me hard is small word for it. It will take much more then just crypto. Turning something that is from start in cash society is nothing that is done over night or just by someone say it. This is process or should i call this evolution. For every evolution you need time like everything that has happen trough history every invention and everything that we as society have done no matter how small that is.

This is possible, but this would be implemented by the governments.  This would result into fiat currency being converted to electronic currency. Generally, I think this will not result to the governments using cryptocurrency as most of those are decentralized. Something the governments don't want.
Exactly, government still doesn't accept it but it is possible in the virtual world. If it happen fiat currency would be useless and I believe that government would not let that happen. This cam affect also poor people who doesn't know how to used electronic gadgets which you can used in order to earn bitcoin.
