This is my first time to see a casino operates under the license of Anjouan which is new to me. I’m not sure how this no KYC works on a fully regulated casino because they kinda contradict to each other but this a good news to all gamblers that seek anonymous gaming.

This license is a breakthrough to the typical Curacao license that enforced mandatory KYC if Anjouan license is proven trusted and reliable.

Actually, cryptopunkz is also a no no mandatory kyc casino -- not to be confused with no kyc. I think the thread title should be changed to no-mandatory kyc instead.

@OP can you point out to me what other reputable casino use this same license?

I'm not op but metawin.com has an Anjouan license as well.

TBH, I wasn't aware of Anjouan gaming license until Skel -- metawin CEO -- brought it up but I believe we'll likely be seeing more casinos with Anjouan license. From what he has told us, they are more welcoming to web3 tech hence why he made the move from Curacao GCB license.

There's also evo.io. Well, they're pretty new so some might say, they're not at reputable level yet but I believe it's very promising and team has a good direction as well.

Have more and more no KYC casino is good for the community. After all we all value our privacy.
Welcome Punks.
That is true, but the fact is that these so called no KYC casinos are all fake and usually request KYC whenever they feel like it which is why their big claims cannot be trusted. I have experienced this particular case myself unfortunately.

Only decentralised sites are proper no KYC casinos, but they cannot offer 100% anonymity either and they aren't as popular as their centralised counterparts.
They tend to exaggerate a bit to attract gamblers, but we know how it works. Once a casino has a license, they can’t go fully anonymous. However, if their provider isn’t strictly monitoring them, they might relax their implementation of KYC requirements. It’s similar to Binance, which wasn’t strict with KYC before but later faced charges for not enforcing rules to prevent money laundering.

In this case, the risk lies with the casinos or platforms. While they try to offer a way to protect our privacy as much as possible, they’re the ones who could face legal consequences if they fall short on compliance, but it's none of our business.

Usually web3 casino offering this no KYC feature, But for other out of that thing maybe in future they require this especially when there's something to look at on their users account. Also when they had been hit up  by  certain regulations just like what other big casino experience.
Like a centralized exchange can launch their DEX, Web3 wallet but if they began as a centralized exchange, with known founders, co-founders, their team are known by governments and they are already under radars of governments for any law enforcement in future. KYC and AML will be required by governments even with DEX, Web3 products from the centralized team.

Quote
But guess they don't bother this for now since they are new and maybe the only thing we could expect that maybe in future this KYC requirements will be ask to their players.
They will not do this if there is no order from governments.

It's certainly that if governments send that order to the team, they will obey it shortly because it will keep their team are safe from legal threats, and it will also help their business operation continuation.

T While we proudly offer an anonymous, no-KYC experience, there are exceptional cases where identity verification may be necessary to protect the integrity of our platform and prevent fraudulent activities.
and in this matter mostly comes the issue , many casinos uses this option to take the advantage of getting against their players specially when winning comes , and when bigger amount is involved .
sorry am not saying that you are one of those but what comes here is the idea of claiming to be No-KYC but in the end there  will comes place .
anyway this is about the players to  believe and trust the system .

Welcome here and hope to see more update and advertisement from your team guys .

Being transparent on KYC requirements is really important and for sure that they could able to see that people is fine providing this requirement as long as they can show that people can trust their casino.

Welcome to the forum @casinopunkz, I'm amazed with your Retro UI because it looks nice. At least not many retro themed casinos out there so it can be a good branding for your business that makes you different from the others. No doubt that UI/UX alone is not enough to attract new customers so you also need to have much more interesting offers for your customers. Currently there is only 1 available promotion and 1 tournament on your casino.

The promotion is 100% deposit bonus, unfortunately it comes with 40x wagering requirement (deposit + bonus) so basically it is 80x of the deposit. Isn't it too high wagering requirement? Usually wagering requirement is applied to the bonus or the deposit amount only, I think need to review your deposit bonus terms and consider to make a change. While the tournament is a multiplier contest with 1000EUR prizepool but the minimum bet to be eligible is too big imho (1EUR) but looking at the finished tournament, I'm surprised to see that all the winners are with less than 60x multiplier. Even less than 10x won the 3rd to 5th prize, it seems that currently you dont have enough players but it is reasonable since you are still new casino.

Coming up to the "no KYC" discussion above, I agree with most members here. It is better for you to remove the marketing gimmick because in the reality you have the right to ask KYC at anytime. I know that you use it to attract customers but I believe potential customers will be preferred to read real fact (not just gimmick).

In Search of Incredible
Thank you for raising this point. Our goal is to create a safe and enjoyable environment for all players. While we proudly offer an anonymous, no-KYC experience, there are exceptional cases where identity verification may be necessary to protect the integrity of our platform and prevent fraudulent activities. This approach helps us safeguard our community while maintaining our commitment to privacy and ease of access.
Most of the casinos enforce the KYC verification rules to any users for similar reasons. It is completely unethical business practice to do the marketing with 'anonymous' and 'No-KYC' in the title while you will ask for KYC verification on some situation. There are a small number casinos where the KYC verification is mandatory now. Otherwise, it depends on the situation on most other casinos. I hope that you will remove those words from your marketing strategy (ANN thread title) for transparency.

Even though it is a general rule that the casino can ask for KYC for special cases, putting that out in black and white will always be better so that individuals will be aware of the rules. I like setting the records straight from the beginning not when users have won something significant.
It's unnecessary marketing in my opinion. 99/100 crypto casinos are no-KYC by default, and they all like to advertise it somehow. But if you spend some time reading their terms and conditions, you learn that there can be many reasons why they can ask you for KYC. Not to mention that they partner with different game providers, which can also request the casino to submit information about you if there is something suspicious going on.

Coming clean in their ANN thread to make it known that it's a KYC casino still won't stop interested users from using their services in as much as they render quality and fair  service. Taking gamblers unaware isn't anything encouraging especially with KYC issues.

Well some casino make it a marketing stunt to announce that they are KYC free, so that people get attracted to the casino. Later when they find out that they are being ask for KYC at withdrawal, than they feel annoyed and think that the casino told false at the start. It is always better to play at a honest KYC casino and not at a dishonest casino without KYC. If the casino is very clear in the KYC policy, the gamblers like this transparency and they will still be attracted to the casino.

Showing false advertisements to promote the casino will never be helpful to gain the long term gamblers to the site. People will just come and go once they know the reality.

Also, about No KYC, does this also applies to huge wins? Because there have been times some casinos would make it obvious that they're KYC free but when a customer wins some huge amount it happens that they request for certain documents before withdrawal could be granted. So what do Casinopunkz.io think about this?

the "No KYC" claim is just a marketing gimmick.
if they have a license, which they do from Anjouan, they are required to have KYC. it's even stated in their terms:

Wonderful! I thought as much because you could rarely get to find an online registered licensed casino nowadays that's absolutely KYC free. If such  is truly KYC free as claimed then it's either they are legally licensed/recognised or they are using a no KYC as a way to allure and fascinate users into their platform.

Just like any other casino that claims to be no KYC, that's not always the case. As your terms highlight, if the player reaches a non-specified withdrawal threshold, they may be asked to verify their identity. You can also block withdrawals and ask for KYC for any other reasons if you think someone is suspicious.
Even though it is a general rule that the casino can ask for KYC for special cases, putting that out in black and white will always be better so that individuals will be aware of the rules. I like setting the records straight from the beginning not when users have won something significant.

What's interesting, though, is that you recommend your customers to use VPN and also suggest the most optimal VPN server locations.
I fine this part somehow confusing because some casinos prohibits the use of VPN especially when they are aiming to stop people from restricted countries from using their services. I think Casinopunk running an open policy especially in the aspect of the use of VPN is a good one for them as that will eliminate some of the problems that lead to account closure of some individuals.

I got a flashback from reading this reply. I understand you need to make some compromises, but the terms are so vague and the marketing is clearly misleading as mentioned by many others. You clearly stated that you'll ask for KYC if the user's gambling volume reaches a certain threshold, which means everyone would eventually have to do KYC. Why not make the numbers clear?

I don't think changing your tagline from "No KYC" to "privacy-first casino" or something similar is going to harm your branding that much. At the very least people won't misunderstand since your ToS definitely contradicts your claims. CMIIW.

The UI looks really slick! I’ve been browsing the site but haven’t created an account yet.... I’m just curious if you’re planning to add a sports betting option to the casino, that would be a great addition.
I agree with you about them including sports betting options to their platform because not every forum member that loves  playing casino slot games so with sports betting made available it's gonna attract sports lovers to also visit their platform increasing their user-base in the forum faster than just a casino would. I am not implying that with just it being a casino it may not enjoy large  traffic but with sports included it becomes an added advantage.

Welcome to bitcointalk CasinoPunkz!
I must confess that I admired your casino's retro-style design. I created an account to test it further. One of the other things I liked about your casino is the good number of supported coins and networks especially the support of the lightning network. It’s not common for new casinos to support it. So, kudos for that!
The user’s profile page may need some improvements, though. Right now, it’s not even possile to change the default username.

Up until now, very few gamblers are using the LN. Maybe, it is the familiarity why most are not up to this network or it is hard to find an exchange which is supporting this network. Maybe, they can add also some useful links like how to use LN or exchanges having LN. Some players may find it handy if the related links are already available.

Yes, but no need to miss leading.

Another anonymous no KYC casino? This has clearly become a trend these days and it isn't a good one since we all know that only decentralised casinos offer anonymity to a certain extent and don't require KYC at all. The site itself looks really, really cool with cyberpunk vibes, but I don't buy the whole anonymous no KYC stuff. Also, the promotions are severely lacking.
I also thought the same things.

Some of few new casino are promoting for non-KYC. But is always the same, in term & condition always stated requested some KYC for some case. TBH, I don't really worried for KYC as long casino can make it fair at the beginning.

Example, asking in the fronts (for make the user decide, want to continue or not). KYC is not always bads from my perspective....
