Anyone has tested new adrenaline driver (17.12.1) with vega? Blockchain driver is simple too much bugged.

With Claymore 10.2 Beta i have +200H/s on 17.12.1. Today is a happy day, eth  price is incrasing, plus hashrate and i didnt have to work today.Smiley

This one can. My screen flies by to damn fast to tell which gpu is which so I haven't messed with it to much but i think it was the samsungs I had spitting out numbers close to 1000 with very little tweaking seeing as I can't tell what is what but either way I also watched it on youtube from a guy hodl round but I didn't find link and I am running stock clocks bios modded rx 5 and 4 series on one rig sense it runs like 8 or more times to fast for me getting avg about 6100 to nanopool and 2 vega rig 3906 24hr avgs.


I bet your right about the ram or at least I hope. I'll find out tomorrow see if 4 gb ram not enough for 8 rx. Works fine for 2 vega

Ok... I am having problems with this Cast XMR program.  I am running a 1070 in slot 1, and my Vega 56 in slot 2.  I cant seem to call the cards right in the batch file.  Or if I do it doesn't recognize the correct OpenCL?  Please help, looking for a stable hash miner..

I can not re enable 1 of my vega card (only that card) anyone knows how to fix it?

So I have been able to get this running on my 11 4GB XFX RX 470s, I have one 6 card system and one 5 card system. On both I seem to get about 9% of my shares rejected because of "out of date job change". Is there no resolution to this? 9% is not a small amount either. This is well after 24 hours of straight mining. I get an 865 hash rate from each card 9% of that times 11 is over 870 H\s. In a sense I would be better off moving to a slower mining software with no fee or 100% accepted shares. Is there anyone that has this issue and has found a solution?

Everyone has told me HBCC requires 8GB system Ram and about 8 GIG of page file per card. I am running 6 Vega 56's. I spent a week tweaking it all.

Also running mixed cards could be your issue. Cast XMR works great for Vega, but not 100% stable with other cards as stated in V.06 Rx cards are still experimental.

Try running it with just the vega's, then just the RX's see if it makes a difference for stability, but to get the high hash rates, HBCC will need the 8 gig system ram.

Anyone else have any Mixed AMD GPU Experiences?
there is no need to use HBCC nor AMD Settings at all

first of all, 1200 something max is bad for a Vega, it should be around 1900+.

As for stability, create a huge pagefile in Windows 10 for Vega, about 60GB, that will help with mem too. You shouldnt need more than 4GB of memory.

Never install AMD Settings utility, never use HBCC, disable and reenable the Vegas in the Device Manager and that will do it. You have a great guide here.

Set OverdriveNTool to certain values and upon every restart:

- disable/enable the Vega cards (that's the equivalente of changing the HBCC thing but without needing loads of memory) in the Device Manager
- start OverdriveNTool
- start cast-XMR

you can automate the process every time Windows launches, I explained it in the previous couple of pages or so.

Im running this command:

cast_xmr-vega -S xmr-eu1.nanopool.org:14444 -u XMRAdress %* --opencl 0 -G 0,1,2,3,4,5

But im getting a massive ammount of errors and cant seem to find the answer in the replies...
ive also tried opencl 1, 2 and 3, but these wont start at all.

Oh right, these are Radeon RX580 cards, they wont work?

yeah they will work but you need to increase your virtual memory. something like 45gb should do it.

7 Card VEGA up and running.  So far I have stopped jacking with it today but there are settings

7 VEGA
-10 FQ
945 MHZ
-10 power (yes needs to go lower but was having issues)
50GB Virtual Disk - Crashed at 45

Yeah but not really.  I have a 2 ton AC just for that garagae, an insulated door, 240V power the whole smash.
