small pic for bensam...

once on the 1070 was maybe bad luck, twice in a year on my two Strix... its not (same 3rd fan failing)

and for sure, this third one is directly connected to the card with a lot of wires

Yup, I've had a few Strix fans fail. It's always the one by the PCIE power connector for some strange reason. Maybe it gets hotter, runs faster, or something. Cards seems to work fine with two fans though so I don't RMA them.

sleeve bearing = quiet, short lived, cheap
ball bearing = durable, loud, expensive

Simply put sleeve bearing is not good for >1 year of mining. You need have replacement ready every year. Sleeve bearing only makes sense for dorm mining even if you can find replacements.

Nothing on the fan mentions the bearing type unless you googled the model number. Asus generally has very good fans and are ball bearing.

Are you just messing with the people here?

Yep. But I'm not the only one in this thread.

It just gives you a good example how easy it is to squeeze some money out of this ecosystem. If I gave them my btc addy there would be some balance.

There won't be any magical algos, miners, coins or tokens.

You got a link can’t even find that branch

Cheers

You need to look at GitHub dashskunk branch.

If it doesn't show up keep hitting F5, if that doesn't work clear that browser cache. Nothing? Try a different browser.

It's dirty profitable atm.

I will release a new mod later today. New algo

Do not just do the mods for niche coins. You made a mod for Bitsend and see how much hashrate is now. You've ruined my profits Angry. Now I have no extra profit  and neither   Bitsend mod buyer.

Bitsend network hashrate hasn't really changed, that's why I said I'm pretty sure SP didn't create a GPU miner. Would be nice if he did...

I noticed last night that hashrate increased to about 1000 MH / s. And now it's so much: https://bsd.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool  . Until then, according to my monitoring, the network hashrate was about 500 -700 Mh / s

It fluctuates, but it's been around 1GH for awhile. The price has been fluctuating though.

Hello there fellow miners im having problems using the SP mod for ccminer

Im using
3 x 1080TI (384.94 drivers)
1050 watt supply
windows 10
cuda 7.5

Normal mining speed without spmod:
http://prntscr.com/gogbua

Problem:
when i use the bat file to open ccminer (spmod) it just instantly crashes
that is after seeing this screen (for about 100ms)
http://prntscr.com/gogdns

can anyone help me fix this? Im new to the mining community so any help is appreciated

(sorry for my English it isnt my native language)

EDIT:
this is my folder:
http://prntscr.com/gogfgx
and this is my launch file:
http://prntscr.com/gogg0b

doesn't support skunk.

Try ccminer.org
how do you mean it doesnt support skunk, where are you guys getting 50mh/s on then?

TRY CCMINER V2.2.1 BY TPRUVOT--

There is a special, non-free, CCminer by sp_ that will process skunk hash, but it has likely seen its best profitability last month or earlier.  Currently, the tpruvot release of CCminer v2.2.1 will do just as well.  It is also a mainstream and open-source release.

I did not look at your print-screen captures.  There are a lot of very new miners in the past 3 months, and some just need to learn the ropes.  The version of CCminer that you are using may be sp_ 's free release, which does not support skunk algorithm.  It is a bit dated, also.  Currently, sp_ writes code modifications for a subscription fee of some sort.

If you have only a few cards or rigs, stick with Free, Open Source Software (FOSS).  There are small farmers that can make use of sp_ 's custom code and make a profit.

Good luck!       --scryptr
