Now, I'm really confused!

No need to be confused, sp_ isn't selling his farm. It's boring here, that's all...

About the only interesting thing there is going on right now is that skunk clusterfuck. Fun to watch.

Wow, what was that all about?

(-;

Rumor is that sp_ sold his farm and opened a major usd short position and is now trying to talk usd down even more.

Looks like total nethash of major algos is not rising anymore, can it be true? Bensam is monitoring those closely and might have facts. Eth+etc was 8.5T before zec launch, now it's 106T.

These last mining quarters have been really boring last three years, we'll see if we have fourth in a row...

I am a bit confused...please correct me if I'm wrong.

sp_ has a new miner for Xevan algo and it's working properly but it won't be send for 0.05BTC as always to his supporter?

If it's true it's not very kind and unfair to his supporter/buyer.... I hoped I found a reliable programmer with some support we would have both a win/win situation.
Never was against his fees or costs...because he did the work. Was always looking for a fair situation for both partners only.
My mining setup is currently horrible...my electricity costs can be almost paid but thats all...searching for a solutions but without a progress currently.

Appreciate if sp_ could help with his new xevan nvidia miner...if its really working and available.

If I'm wrong I apologies starting some rumors.

Solo mining BSD with 4 rigs, will make that bounty in 3 days,  I see no point in publishing it at this moment when profit is 2.5x-3x more than any other coin on whattomine.

This hashrate is for EVGA GTX 1070 FTW at full TDP. MSI GTX 1070 works perfect too, however on gigabyte gtx 1070 cards, windforce OC reboots system after a random amount of time and G1 gaming completely freezes the system.

I believe that there are some memory alignment issues, but cuda-memcheck and cuda-gdb report no problem.

Anyone else had issues with x17 from alexis version of ccminer?

Wow xevan ccminer ?

I used to mine x17 with alexis version of ccminer without any problems for days.
Too much OC ?

I have tried lowering the OC, but same story. When too much OC on EVGA and MSI, I get some illegal memory acceses, but that's no problem.
Problem is only with Gigabyte cards. I tried contacting Gigabyte, but they don't provide support for linux wtf?
I am speaking now with someone from nvidia to see if this is a driver or a bios issue. Most likely is something wrong in my code, but can't track the problem since cuda-memcheck doesn't report any error,
also nothing in system logs.

I am seeing here some crazy prices for the xevan ccminer, sounds tempting Cheesy

FYI, in case you would like to make your XEVAN ccminer for public, you could claim the bounty of 1000 BSD here

what the hell, I go away for a day and come back, now we are talking about nuclear war with north korea ?  what in the...In any case your kids are safe sp - North koreans will defect if you offer them a car+house for the family.  They have no ability to wage war outside of North Korea, purely defensive.  I wouldnt worry too much.

Still wallet problems with Signatum on Cryptopia.

The coin will go pos and delisted on the exchange.

but how can others still trade signatum on cryptopia?

any news when can they fix the wallet?

TRADING SIGT ON CRYPTOPIA HAS ENDED--

It ended yesterday sometime, I think.  I was able to withdraw my SIGT today, but not yesterday.  The whole affair is getting really messy!

SIGT was a coin that I was bored with.  If I had paid more attention, I would have dumped before the Cryptopia exchange halted trading.  The SIGT team is threatening litigation over the problems, and Cryptopia blames obsolete code within the wallet.  There is more detail to this story than I care to type out, but you can check the "www.cryptopia.co.nz/NEWS" page for more information.

I put my SIGT on the best exchange then available, and set it at a price that may have been reached during a spike.  The whole thing had better odds than a $10 lottery ticket, but I scratched and lost.  I do still have my SIGT.  Maybe I'll keep it in my wallet and collect POS earnings.  If I buy a lottery ticket once a year with my POS earnings, I may still become a millionare with SIGT.

WHooooot!       --scryptr

well, it's just a matter of extending the x17 algos to 1024 bits, which in most cases is just repeating a call and

Yes, you just need to copy and paste the original public domain NIST c sourcecode and replace 512 with 1024. And then you end up with a cuda kernel that does around 500khash on the gtx 1070... But to get 5 times the speed, you need to hire a good cuda dev. €200 an hour ++ But to get 10x the speed (the profitable speed) the devs don't want to take your dirty money...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fuRzuyBy5LE

no, it's much quicker to base the work on current 512 bit kernels.
I did such digest size changes in the past and I know what I'm talking about.
writing from scratch doesn't make any sense, it's waisting time.
