you are sad if you sold and didn't hold :-D

XCN is much better than BTC in terms of profits )) I still have some BTC but that is on exchange trailing sell order set.

I am sad because what is going to happen is not going to be a good thing for cryptos in general. Traders are going get rich though.

I must say I have never felt this sad watching btc going up. Disgusting.

Everyone is sitting at their computer with the sell button on a hair trigger.

Except that sell button doesn't work, when dumping starts every exchange lags so bad that it is impossible to trade. I highly recommend placing stop orders.

Moving btc to exchange is going to be another thing, that already fucked network is going to be even slower. Blocks even more full, slow blocktimes, it can easily take hours before your deposit is ready. And when you try to sell all you can see is a cloudfare error page.

After they have squeezed these shorts there are no buyers left but this can pump really high before that.

As a miner, I am very interested what will happen to profitability. It can get better or worse, nothing surprises me anymore.

Not a big fan of how fast BTC is climbing. When it starts climbing this fast it's usually followed by a pretty epic dump that happens all within a hour or two. Everyone is sitting at their computer with the sell button on a hair trigger. Super fast climbing has never been good for BTC. It invites people who are just looking to make a quick buck at the expense of long term investment and stability.

When it dumps I'm thinking 1,200, but prepare your anuses, we may be going back to 1k.

It's a shame that asic's so much to the benefit of gpu on x11. A baikal does 150mhs, a gtx 1070 how much does it do? 15 mhs? Is there no way to increase performance? .

just use the card to mine other algos.

I had to setup a pool myself to mine machinecoin and bitcore. Once you do it the first time, it's quick to adapt to other coins.

WHAT POOL SOFTWARE DID YOU USE? --

I have thought of that approach, but it seems difficult.       --scryptr

I modified ckpool, very quick and dirty :-D

you can't solo mine any coins that is based on the last version of bitcoin core, because ccminer don't have getwork implemented

apparently more and more coins ar eusing this and in the future solo will be dead if this will not be addressed

and bitcoin core don't even support rotation such as 192.168.1.*, i don't know if remotely you can go with 192.168.1.0/24...i need it for my vware scamcoin machine

Figure out what a netmask is.

I'm not sure about that, I've seen coins that support getwork, seems as though this one chose to remove it or move it. Pretty sure the other .exe's play part in solo mining, I'm not sure exactly how they're implemented though as there is no documentation.

i mean ccminer don't support it i tried to mine woodcoin and machinecoin in solo but it's no use

don't worry about that wildcard, you can do the same and more with subnet masks (for example 0/24 is equivalent to .*).

nope, they changed the algo to use 10 algos instead of 8

update Source for this algo pls and add to yiimp !!! Grin

That coin will probably be dead within a few weeks. There isn't anything to it and it got a major pump out of the door which is quickly declining.

Weird how there doesn't seem to be any way to solo mine it. I tried to do it with the QT and it gives empty responses. You're supposed to use some combination of the QT and other .exe's, but I can't figure it out. There is only one other post in the thread discussing solo mining and his craps out after a few hours (pretty sure he was CPU mining as well).

No one has any idea of how to make a QT wallet reconnect to the network after your IP changes without restarting the wallet?
