Are you experiencing weird reconnections to private.nicehash pool?

It keeps reconnecting there, showing 0 shares accepted... like hidden mining somewhere else.

Yeah you don't get those speeds on normal cards. People really need to stop quoting their bleeding edge OCs as 'what you get'.

Bensam, you got any performance numbers for that cheap zotac you linked earlier?

Do you own an AMP Edition to claim that? If not shut up. I own plenty of them and the cooling is way better than EVGA and Palit & Co.
Plus 5 years extended warranty..

Yes, I have. I sold them. Scroll back about 100 pages in this thread and I talk about my experience with them and why they're broken. I own tons of different models, 1070 Amp edition (non extreme, no triple fan) are some of the worst cards I've used due to their shitty coolers.

O have many GTX1080 AMP! and GTX1070 Mini of Zotac none of them is in any case shitty or defunct. Not to mention no burning VRM or such things. I assume you just had a charge that was not the QS as it has now. The first batches had issues with cooling but Zotac worked on it.

The fans run close to 100% all the time when the were under heavy load and cooled worse then even MSI 1070s. They were just waiting for longer term cooling issues. The problem was the lack of cooling. The shroud on the card extends all the way to the PCB. This blocks exhaust from the fans and heatsink. The heat has no where to go so they overhead. The newer triple fan ones and the extreme edition have a lot of space between the edge of the heatsink and the PCB which allows the hot air to exhaust out of the sides.

I haven't tried the AMP version, but just the Extreme one. indeed it's huge, but I don't see this as an issue sincerely, because of there's a massive cooler, and a far more complex pcb than the others.

This means that the power consumption it's higher, but so the performance. It's @stock at 2015 MHz under LBRY, and can push up to, if not more, 2100. In the tabs that I've shown you, it's pretty clear that it's an amazing model. Other than that, you all should note that the voltage was higher too, so the Inno3D Ichill seems better. It's not, due the different voltage and frequency. The best it's the AMP extreme.

Truly an amazing card, if you don't pay much in electricity or simply exploit the instamining situations

What are you smoking? I noted two exceptions. The Extreme is huge and the Amp edition two fan is terrible cooling.

The cheap Zotac video card works pretty good. The tripple fan cooler that's hellah cheap. I bought one, it works about as well as EVGA without the VRM spark shower.

A bit of advice about overclocking memory. It's really fickle and depends a lot on TDP. If you're maxing out your TDP and you try OCing your memory (such as 112 which is common on most cards), it's not going to reach as far as OCing mem without hitting TDP limits. Cards that have larger TDP caps, such as MSI or Zotac with 8+6 connectors will OC much better.

You'll probably only reach +500 on most cards, +800 is for high TDP cards.

Zotac cheap?What..despite some issues of some early series fans..of GTX1080AMP! they are best..also OC is very good and I maintain on all card above 2100Core and 5500MHZ on the GDDR5x without any problem. Temps are also nice.

Extreme edition is huge and AMP edition has a terrible cooler on it. I was talking about the triple fan cheap one.

They have a mid range one now as well, all of which have the trimmed shroud the double fan AMP piece of shit doesn't have (not talking about the mini). Still pretty sure the cooler wasn't bad on those, trapping all the air inside of the card was, however.

We're talking about 1070s not 1080s with their weird ass memory.

I have micron ram and no BIOS fix yet so I can't do anything above 400MHZ+ on GTX1070.

Are you talking about Gigabyte G1?

Zotac I only own Zotac products :-D

May I ask you why? I have an AMP extreme 1070 which has very good cooling but it's huge, doesn't allow TDP less than 125, and is the only one having issues with the latest drivers (mines at half speed).

Which drivers? 375.95 WHQL? I on't have speed issues on my Zotac AMP! but I don't use AMP! Extreme just the normal AMP! only the driver 375.85 made half speed due to a bug of nvidia.

375.20 linux; being a known bug, I will wait for the new driver ;-)
