I think if merge the latest code I can do 170Sol/s (gtx 1070) because I modded different parts of the code.

I still think I can do a free miner that does 170sol/s on the gtx 1070 that works on all pools. Sp-mod #2. But I don't have time right now.

You are about a month too late anyway so don't bother.

ZCASH IS PROFITABLE--

The algorithm uses little energy, and Zcash (ZEC) is currently peaking in price.  The block reward is rising.  It is worth $10/day more (with my rigs) than mining Ethereum (ETH) with the same rigs.  FeatherCoin (FTC) is a distant third.

If SilentArmy were optimized more, I would mine with it.       --scryptr

Can we hope a new miner more powerful soon for Nvidia ?

We are planning to release an improved version of EQM, targeting 100+ Sol/s on GTX 970 and 180+ Sol/s on 1070 (not yet fully tested, though).

That's a good start, but only if it's not locked to your pools, which your miners have been. The extra hashrate barely makes up for the low payouts on your service. Please consider as a option in the miner 'locked to pool' OR '2.5% dev fee'. A lot of people can calculate prices and realize it's not worth mining on the service even with the extra hashrate. A in between would be nice.

Just a reminder. The community 30k miner bounty program is just about up too. They mentioned they're releasing the miners at the beginning of Dec. How much that's going to change? Are we already at what the bounty miners are at? Who knows, but we'll find out in a week or so.

Doesn't really matter if that's locked to nicehash. Payments in BTC are much, much worse than mining ZEC/ZCL directly.

And the dedicated pool (zcash.nicehash.com) is also pretty crap.

For a giant like nicehash, I'm not sure why there isn't a proper pool with the option for the locked miner to work there as well.

The lyra2 grid is too much bigger than the one in lyra2re and lyra2rev2. A gpu implementation will likely have similar efficiency as cpu, if not worse. Too big of a challenge for an algo which is already planned to be phased out.

Cramming six CPUs into a computer generally doesn't happen. Ethereum PoW was planned to be phased out as well and will be... yet people built miners and better miners for it. It's already been a month and they don't seem any closer to adding the new algo besides mentioning they reached a 'development hurdle' whatever that means.

Thanks, but I meant Zcoin, not Zcash. Confusing, I know.

Is there an nvidia GPU miner for Zcoin? It's some sort of lyra2 variant.

I asked for this a month ago a few different times. It uses a weird version of Lyra2 that has increased height. It was a 'temporary' algo, so no one built a miner for it as MTP is going to be the final algo they're using. Just another crock of shit though, basically a whole month worth of mining lost due to people thinking they were going to release the new algo in a week.

I'd still say it's atleast a month or two out. Still worth hacking something together in the meantime... No one does it.
