Here's an update, Piggybank 0.9.4.1 with the fixes to the client:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49exKIsGBn5cmNtb2tkWWI1OFE/edit?usp=sharing

Source on Github has also been updated. I am in the process of working up a new installer.exe and language translations and they will be available on the Pennies page a bit later this evening.

Thanks for your continued interest in the Piggybank!

Thanks for the support and work you put in this!

How about I just put it back the way it was? You all like the crazy CENT stakes yea?

You are in charge here, you created it. But it will kill the coin eventually when numbers get too large for the wallet.

So I prefer a fix for it.

I agree with you an Harbinger, and we'll let the fix roll on...

Barwizi, my Windows client freezes off and on when it tries to make stake, it may be doing just that for you...Taskman usually shows it using 90% plus of my CPU when its trying to do that.

ok, hopefully i get lucky, in the mean time, after watching people actively attempt to crash the price, i think it's better the fix is due. now all those who crashed it would need to buy large portions if they still want to have power over the market.

The best thing to do would be to check the transaction on the block crawler. It'll list a link for the transaction inputs at the top so you can look back at which transaction spawned it. It may be a combination of a larger source transaction but possibly one that has also had spends on it making the actual input amount smaller than you think or it may even be from a very small transaction amount from a long time ago.
somehow my windows client seems to be freezing up, so i'll use the block crawler. so i'm the only one this is happening to ?  Sad

i think the stake should be reduced , i withdrew and re-sent my coins back in larger tx for stake a month ago, so i shouldn't be having small ones right?

or maybe i am misunderstanding something?

i just thought i'd get one more chance to see the fairy sing my song.

Yeah it really does need to be changed, the numbers are getting a bit silly now.  There may even be a risk of running out of numbers once we get to 100s of trillions minted per week (should only take a few months)

meh, there's a bug, my stakes are extremely small from millions down to 160 ?

You really need to check which transaction the stake was spawned from by checking the inputs before you can claim it's a bug. After posting that I've never received a stake for a small transaction I received a small stake that went back to a very small transaction that was about 1 month old a couple of days ago.

I think you really need to let the fix ride at this stage otherwise it'll be into the trillions of coins soon.  Smiley

is it just me or the reduced stake has already taken effect. ?
Nope not yet. Stake changes take effect on "Thu, 31 Oct 2013 12:00:00 GMT".  or more precisely when the current time is > 1383220800.

That being said, I believe there is a bug in the code. currentTime  is set as a global variable and will not change so long as the program is running  (GetTime() call needs to be moved into GetProofOfStakeReward). So as long as your start your daemon before then it should still stake at 10x (5x+5x), but I would expect that the other nodes that were started after would reject this causing problems.

Ahh this is interesting, I will take a look and update accordingly.

1 block = 1 coin, why so many coins?

'Cuz I fux0red the stake calculation by not moving the decimals like I did for the PoW rewards. Love them or hate them, CENTs are what they are.

so the block is stake?
