This coin has no real purpose unless it is accepted by merchants. The idea that you can exchange it for other coins is not a real purpose. If you want to do that you can use a plethora of other coins that actually have a network that is viable.
Or maybe do what every other person that seems to need another choice, build your own.
Sure my 1 trillion CENT would go places and all but why bother.

i think that would be awesome though to have wallets for osx and linux. gonna need them eventually

Coinmarketcap needs updating, it shows "No Active Markets" for CENT despite the alcurex market for them. I hadn't checked out this thread in a long time and assumed with cryptsy's closure that there was nowhere left to trade my CENT. The trade volume would probably pick up if coinmaketcap was updated to let everyone know CENT's still trade-able.

Currently the block explorer and richlist are down, because until the current situation is not settled cryptsy not worth paying the server.
I have to keep working on richlist blockexplorer and only a few hours a day until cryptsy permanent closure and then to see if people can recover their coins, try to find a solution to the current problem.

Hello, if you have the private key, you can retrieve your cents.
In the command line, type importprivkey "your private key" without the quotes ENTER.
If you get them back, you immediately change them to another wallet.
