You guys still hopeful that cryptsy is going to come back?

Lets assume we'll get them back. Communication from Cryptsy's side is bad, but the site is still up and log in works. Just make sure you make printscreens of your balance as Tevayo mentioned earlier.

If CENT wasn't affected by the hack then we should hopefully be able to withdraw once withdrawals are opened.

It sucks Cryptsy is currently on lock down, it does however look like the CENT wallet was not affected by the hack (anyone able to confirm this by checking if any large transactions occurred shortly after the Cryptsy hack?)

Hopefully they’ll open up the withdrawals in the near term so everyone can get their CENTs out. I for one have part of my stash still stuck there.

I haven't looked at any of the exchanges in regards to voting etc. but now would be a good opportunity to start targeting exchanges to open either a CENT/BTC or CENT/LTC market.

CENT is the perfect cryptocurrency for everyday micro-transactions due to its unique features.

Any news on getting your coins from Cryptsy? Mine are still locked and now cant login as the 2FA verification is not working now (no text messages coming through).

Anyone else doing anything with this coin? There's so much market liquidity that it has a real potential for real world value, does need some development though.

Yeah I quoted myself. Perhaps you may want to re-read this again. This coin is dead, there is no value. 40% of the coins are lost in a defunct exchange. BTER also has had withdrawals and deposits disabled for quite some time. Not only are there no real world uses you cannot exchange them for coins that actually have real world use.

This is my last post in this thread. It's like beating a dead horse with some of you. Please take a step back and assess the situation look beyond your so-called investment. Consider it a loss and move on. Start researching a product before you invest in it. Anyone had many opportunities in the last 18 months to see this product had no value in the beginning (by doing diligent research) and continued to lose whatever perceived minute value there could have been.

You hello, between 30 and 40% of CENT, are trapped in cryptsy.
Until that issue is not settled, we can not do anything.
All we assume that cryptsy will close, but we can not know is whether before closing, will allow investors to recover some coins.
When this issue is resolved (in one form or another), we propose a plan to CENT.
Until then (and in anticipation that they can not recover the trapped coins), I can only recommend everyone to screenshots that demonstrate (without doubt) the CENT trapped in cryptsy are made.

If you think of a way to liven up a coin trapped in a percentage as high in the hands of rascals, I'll be happy to listen.
Otherwise, do not bother.

and youre right VW2015 this has coin has been pronounced dead many of times and keeps gettin up.
i dont have any programing skills all i can do are architectural drawing/renderings for construction.
So im just an investor and i aint going nowhere.

This is a good coin, long chain, 3 year history, but there are people running cryptocurrency without a clue of what to do or how to manage a financial or economic project.

The ONLY way you make the unit worth money is if it has a use and investors, the exchanges are a con, each coin needs to be used/accepted by banks and big businesses on its merits.

So, I ask again, is there a foundation or are you noobs doing anything?
