I thought would see my name but I didn't, this is the first or second time my name did not appear in the list. Let me see this month. This days I am lazy to post in the local board. Baba no be only you oooo, the way those guys take bench me from the golden fedar awards surprise me ooo, even 3rd position I no see carry, but I know that was because my activities in the local board dropped a little in the last month and I have not been involved in discussions that could possibly get me to that level and funny how I fall from being 1st to no making top 3 and that is a wake up call for me to increase my participations in discussions here let see how it goes. Naija localboard is becoming more and more interesting, and our face don dey show for the bitcointalk forum wela and let see his this will turn out to be in the nearest future may be the biggest and successful crypto projects from Africa may come from Nigeria and pioneered by member of this forum, motivated by the discussions and advice from this place, I believe we going to see something positive like that in time to come.

I took 2nd in the general table and took first in the Golden Feathers. I thank myself and all the people that their names appear for the lists it was not easy mostly posting qualitatively. I thank Mr Igebotz who with his tireless effort to make sure that this thread is updated every month and also Mr. Brainboss who is also encouraging members in the local board by this monthly merit award. I came out in 8th position among the active users in the Naija local board, I'm so happy about this update Igebotz just released. Congratulations to EluguHcman for Satoprincess monthly BTC reward, infant you really deserve the reward by stayed on topic through out the month to take the position from Kelward who has won the satoprincess reward two times. I noticed that the users in the list of 5 merit senders are not all from the Naija local board. I don’t know how you select users in that category. If you can explain it for me and others that don’t understand, I’ll really appreciate it.
Example is this thread that 1miau sent 20 merits. People that are not Nigerians can see interesting post and merit it.
If I should use myself as an example. Here is a thread that JayJuanGee gave me 3 merits.

Thank you for another great month I didn't expect my name to come out there but I was surprised to see that my post in the local board has increased greatly. Well, I don't know what say but rather I will put more efforts in contributing strongly to the localboard as I believe is the birdrock of our heart and a solid place to share the best knowledge via our locally understood language.

However, I just say make I remind you my Chief Sir Igebot if maybe you don forget for this wonderful work you dey do for here. I know say eh no easy, but the Lord is your strength my chief.
Not only you but all of us have being waiting to see the last month localboard score cards for the month of July, but I still know that we have not exusted the timeline for Igebotz to handout the scores, I really must commend him for his selfless job he is doing here in the local board and bitcoin talk community in general, because it is not easy to combine community service with personal hustle since local board grading it, not the only engagement Igebotz have here on bitcointalk and not to talk of real-life activities. I believe he will come around anytime soon, since we are already 7th day into August which is about the usual timeframe for his publishing of the local board activities scores.

To join the current conversation, can anyone create a thread on what is expected on this board?. What should be discussed and what shouldn't be discussed.
The thread on rules and regulations should also be pinned so that everyone can read them and take caution. This is what I think will do everyone good and also help newbie and some other high rank users take caution.
In regards to your question, I will likely want to say that since the name of this forum is called "Bitcointalk", the most important topic that is expected for discussion is anything relating to Bitcoin as it affects us here in Nigeria, economic related topics (i.e as it affects the value of our fiat currency and holding in BTC), and topics that have to do with viral stories that we all stand the chance to learn one or two thing from it (i.e as it affects us all), tech, new tools that could help us (e.g ChatGPT and Grammarly)The thread on rules and regulations should also be pinned so that everyone can read them and take caution. This is what I think will do everyone good and also help newbie and some other high rank users take caution.
While topics that are not allowed here are relationship advice (e.g how to toast the girl of your dream) and, topics that passes no vital message or teach any lesson to learn from.

Everyone knows that drainage is not a dump; it's an elementary school topic so it definitely a spam cause there were zero effort in that topic. And the OP is known for creating topics without engaging in discussion in his own topics.
I see the topic to be about how people dump wastes and block the drainages, leading to flooding. Even on our local FM in my state, people are educated not to dump wastes inside gutters, public gutters and other drainages. As for me, the topic is not useful, but maybe it would be useful to other people. Maybe the town the OP is, there is something like that and it is affecting the people in that area, leading to flooding and diseases during raining season. I do not expect to see that on the main board as it would make it to have low quality, but off-topic can be a perfect board for it in my opinion.Report it to be locked or moved to the off-topic discussion board but it's already getting so much replies as expected and that would make it difficult. Everyone is just spamming, text spinning on that topic.
