Nice one, you have done well. But I have suggestions.

So far you want the merit stat of 2021 vs 2022 to continue, why not also let the activity stat of 2021 vs 2022 to continue, it will be nice to see such stat.

Second, you have a stat for activity of December 2021 vs January 2022, can we have weekly stat for the merit stat as well, maybe starting from next month.

These are just suggestions.

Nice one, OP. Keep updating us with such data. Personally, I appreciate you coming up with this statistics as it's something I can't come around doing myself (for now). The only charts I know how to draw are TA lines. I know a lot of stress must've gone into all that you did. Keep it up, as that will continue to bring out the activities of the Nigeria board (we truly deserve one) to the fore.

Note: Maybe you will consider using two distinct and sharp contrasted colours next time for easy assimilation.

Good work igehh, collating all this data must not have been easy. From the data presented, the Nigerian community is growing.
Just to add I’m not new again  Cry I’m active in our local threads. The user profile link for Wiwo is incorrect and redirects to a different account. Other than that minor error everything else is in order. I’m confident we will have our local board

Putting up these monthly statistics is not easy. I commend you on that for putting up the names and ranks of every Nigerian member together in this forum.
We are getting bigger every day.
Newbies should be added to our Next monthly Overview. They shouldn't be disregarded rather be encouraged one way or the other.
You did well in keeping us updated every month.

It's true that they are minority, but some of the most active members of Croatian boards are from Serbia and I think that both them and Croatian board are benefiting from them being active there, despite the fact that they can't really talk much about crypto stuff that is going on in Serbia (at least not open specific topics about it).
I don't think anyone would mind that they open threads discussing the Serbian crypto movement. I would be interested in knowing what's happening in neighboring countries. And like you pointed out, the more quality discussions there are, the better the local board will be. It's also a question of how many are indeed interested in writing in the Croatian local. Some members from Serbia surely are, but not everyone.

I also remember that someone introduced a Bosnian crypto site a few years ago. But that thread got buried quickly for the same reasons. Lack of Bosnians and lack of interest by those Bosnians who are here.

This is getting a bit off-topic, so I will stop now.

I always wondered why the admins didn't opt for creating an Ex-Yu board, for example, instead of having a Croatian local and then a separate Serbian thread.
Yep, it is interesting indeed, especially considering the fact that Parazyd asked exactly that in [REQ] Croatian, Serbian and Bosnian section in the "Other Languages" forum. Maybe theymos decided to make Croatian as from what I can see, it was way more active than Serbian topic while Bosnian was created years later.

Both Croatians and Serbs speak and understand "Bosnia," it would make more sense to rename the local board to Bosnian local board to give the two countries equal rights
I am sorry, but you are talking about stuff you know little (or nothing) about if you think that this would make any sense to change the name now or that would make people from Serbia writing more there, as situation regarding Balkan countries and languages is extremely complicated and always gets political.

the Serbians will always be a minority on that board, and the topic of discussion is focused on what's going on in Croatia; bringing in a Serbia discussion will be seen as off-topic. Feedom is gold, I understand why they needed a separate board.

Since purpose of this thread (I guess) is to show your strength and get your own local board (which you definitely deserve and I am sure that you will eventually get), wouldn't it make more sense to share those charts in Request for Nigeria local board?

Bosnian is just another variation of the same language. It wouldn't make sense renaming the board as the Bosnian board because that doesn't incorporate a larger geographical area, it makes it smaller. Ex-Yu is a term used on many other forums and it includes most of the Balkan countries who speak different variations of the same language. It was once called Serbo-Croatian, now each country has its own (Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian).

We have one Spanish local instead of different boards for Castellano, Catalan, Basque, and the other dialects/languages.
The cities mentioned above are still part of Spain
Those are not cities. They are dialects/variants of the Spanish language spoken in different parts of Spain. Catalan in Barcelona, Basque in Bilbao, etc.

Anyways, my argument is that bringing in more people in a certain language group can only make that local better. I would never deny anyone the right to have their own local, but sometimes it just doesn't make sense. Do you think it's logical that we should have an Austrian board only for Austrians when we already have a German board where they can all hang out and speak the same language? Have you noticed how there are no local boards for South American countries? Why would there be when most of them speak Spanish (Brazilians speak Portuguese) and they can post, read, and write in those boards.

Honestly, it would make more sense having the Serbians join the Croatian local board and make that one even better and stronger. Many are posting there anyways. It's basically the same language. I know what you say, some time ago I also took the initiative to get a local board for Serbian language members, but nothing happened.

We don't have a US or Australian local because they speak English.

I know what you say, some time ago I also took the initiative to get a local board for Serbian language members, but nothing happened. although at that time we were the most active of all local sections without a dedicated board.
unfortunately, then we were not recognized by the administrator many members turned to other alternative forums. It has now been reduced to minimal activity.
So sorry for that, this can be disappointing to many of you Serbians on this forum. But which forum has been better than Bitcointalk? I have found none. I know about altcoinstalks, but even the bounty section on this forum is even more recognized than the site. Also, I know about cryptotalk which is now strictly only for Russians. I have never seen better forum like Bitcointalk, or which other ones do you know? It will be good if you can advice some of the Serbians that left to come back because no other forum like Bitcointalk. If you continue to be active, you will achieve the aim of having local board.

I guess this topic is some kind of pressure on forum administrators to expand the local Nigerian board. probably the right thing to do.
Yeah, not a pressure in my opinion. Everything on the forum went through an application process, and the stats and charts are just another way of applying for our local from a statistical standpoint. I believe it's just a way of telling the administrators that there are too many people on a thread to stay on it. Looking at our thread, there are many good topics worthy of lengthy discussion, but there is no room for such a top.

I follow occasionally Croatian board which is otherwise one of the most active and I see that many statistics information related to members from there is posted in their section. It seems like a good practice to me.
Igehhh will surely move it to our local board once we are given, Croatian board is not a thread, such stat can easily fit into Croatian local board. Ones we have the local board, it will fit into the board immediately.

Charles- Tim is correct. If we had a local board, the stats wouldn't have been here, and if we succeed I'd move it to our local board and continue with it.

Yes, it will really be good if theymos create local board for Nigerians so we will be able to discuss bitcoin and other crypto related contents in relation to Nigeria as a country that is actively trading cryptocurrencies. Not a pressure but an indication of how active some Nigerian posters are while some are having quality post contents.

I guess this topic is some kind of pressure on forum administrators to expand the local Nigerian board. probably the right thing to do. But I'm not sure what this section would look like if all the local languages boards posted their activity statistics here. Especially on weekly basis.

I feel our topic is being considered someplace, and I'm really confident that our battle days will be over soon, and we will all enjoy a feast, so don't give up, last week's activities were poor. It's past time for us all to put in the same amount of effort as Charles-Tim... My respect

It's a fine job your doing @Igehhh. Not only does it shows those that are actively participating on our Local Board as we have it now but, it aids for personal assessment on an individual base and reveals a state of decline in our participation both on an individual scale and generally. Its become a very discouraging factor when it comes to participation and bonding on the local board with it yet to be pinned officially I must say. Though, I will urge everyone of us to keep putting in effort to meet up with our country men and let's share ideas on how to survive the government and there new ideas towards dragging cryptocurrency to the mould.
