Dear Brassnuts,

Thank you for your reply.

The handling department has decided to drop the request for a notarized passport, please be aware that this is a one off exception and that the SOW/SOF procedure is still ongoing nonetheless. The 5 calls of silence was explained before and such a procedure can take longer than that, at this point, this is not a mere basic KYC check anymore, with many more reviews and decisions to be made.
Bear in mind that nodoby has disputed the Roulette win round that is part of your game play, our historically very reliable 3rd party spotsbook partner has raised flags over a number of sportsbook tickets, which then triggers enhanced KYC procedures in turn.

For the time being, the department has received the requested information and is reviewing everything and we will be in touch if anything else is required.
Until then, we appreciate your patience and we assure you that this is handled with the utmost priority.

Here is a list of every transaction I've ever made on Chipstars. It was one short afternoon of degenerate betting which I happened to win, and then all of this has happened.

Hiya,

There is nothing suspicious about my betting whatsoever and I will happily post every single bet I made if it helps to make sure that this is perfectly clear. I am currently screenshotting every singe bet right now.

The notarization request is the biggest flag however. No one in the industry has ever requested such a thing. This is a betting site, of which I used perfectly honestly and I will prove that without question, so why are they asking for things like notarization which is normally within the jurisdiction of such things as immigration authorities.

I will be going through every avenue possible to make sure this is dealt with fairly so let me state vehemently that you should not continue nefariously.

Crypto betting is a growing industry and you need to be doing things with integrity if you don't want to mess everything up. 5 days of radio silence, and then all of a sudden a request for notarized documentation? Don't be so utterly absurd. Nobody is going to believe that...

So you need to do the right thing and stop messing me about.

EDIT: Oh and btw, I did win around 2k GBP from a 1k approx deposit. I won 990 GBP on ROULETTE. Can you explain what could even be slightly suspicious about that roulette win?? I will post every single bet I made too. There is nothing suspicious about my play and I am now worried that you are just straight up trying to scam me.

Dear Brassnuts and community,

First off, thank you for chosing us as a platform of choice.

We also would like to apologize for the somewhat slow replies over the easter weekend, this case is handled by a dedicated, specialized team, which had reduced presence over this weekend.

While we have a policy to only request any KYC from players when it is absolutelly needed(a payment provider requests etc.), however, in this case, the players betting activity was flagged by our Sportsbook provider for unusual patterns which might be in breach of our terms. This in turn requires a mandated SOW/SOF check due to regulatory directives, this is called suspicious activity or suspicious transaction reporting.

This procedure has been initiated and we cannot share more details due to data protection policies. This procedure is not a regular KYC check, but an enhanced check and unfortunatelly, these take some more time. We will try to have the relevant department drop the request for notarized documents, however, we cannot promise anything as these regulations are rather unflexible.

Rest assured that the case is being handled with utmost priority and the team will be in touch soon.

We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding, we do see how extended KYC duration can be frustrating.

Kind regards,

Your Chipstars Team

The problem is they have supposedly good scores at Trustpilot and Askgamblers etc.

This is not a kyc issue at this point imo. This is just a delay or scam tactic only. Notarising a document means I need to contact a solicitor/lawyer and pay a fee to have the document notarised. Absolutely and utterly outragous and clearly nothing more than a nefarious action.

All this just for a simple first withdrawal.

I am waiting for 5 days now just to be verified so I can make my first withdrawal. I would not bother to make the thread but I need to see some movement as I have not had any communication at all. I understand that it's been easter so there might be a delay but almost radio silence for 5 days is very worrying. Please can you try and address this. Username is brassnuts.

Thanks
This is one of the things I hate that gambling sites do, going radio silence for several days after the gambler submitted their KYC info is annoying, the least they can do is respond to the gambler when they are asked about updates on their case.

anyway, their representative is active and was online today, so there is a high chance they'll see your post.
I think annoying it is an understatement, and this is actually not an issue that is peculair to gambling casinos alone, some weeks back, I signed up on one of the banking platforms here in my country, they instructed me to download their app and pass kyc verification before I did be allowed to do anything with my account, I downloaded the app as instructed, went through the kyc process and submitted all the requested documents plus selfies and live video recording of myself, the wait began, I waited the first day, second and third day, they didn't approve, and no message was sent me, and up to a week, two weeks, nothing, i decided to contact their customer care, and for another 2 weeks, no approval or rejection and the customer care did not also read nor reply my messages, after two months of waiting, I angrily deleted the app from my phone and never looked their way again, and funny enough, since the past months, they've been spamming my mailbox with all sorts of promotional stuffs, maybe they trying to get my attention again but honestly, they are wasting their time..

It's absolutely annoying when things like this happen, and for me, I usually will just forget about that casino and move on to another, afterall, we have a lot of good and reputable casinos to choose from.

Scrap that. Here is the current issue. They are asking for my passport to be notarized which is outrageously excessive just for a simple withdrawal.

Here is the message they sent me:

'Hello,

The provided document is not notarized, therefore we are unable to process the withdrawal. Please note that you are required to send us a notarized document. This involves visiting a notary to obtain a copy of your ID document and having it notarized.'

I just had a reply asking for a copy of my passport again. So hopefully this will all be cleared up pretty soon and the delay can just be put down to Easter.

Still radio silence, and the Chipstars account has been on today. We wait in vain.
As far as I can see they have live support, have you contacted them through this live support to know about how long the verification process?
I think 5 days is too long if it is just about standard KYC process, most casinos usually takes no more than 2*24hours (working days).
About their representative here, maybe he has no idea about your issue and he needs to forward it to the related department.
Or maybe the representative here will never give any response about your case, the account was actively replying other's posts last year but no more this year.

@Chipstars Please kindly stop creating new thread for your promotion in the gambling board, simply check the top pinned topic in this gambling board for the reason.
You can simply bump your ANN thread with that post or create a new thread in the Games and Rounds board for it.
You did it multiple times already since last year and you have been warned multiple time as well but seems that you ignore it.
It is fine if you ignore the warning from other forum members, but ignoring the rules of the forum is not good at all.

It's not too late to join. Actually you can join at any moment and still have a chance to win.
This is not the kind of tournaments where there is a leader board and the one with most points wins the prize pool at the end of the tournament.
Prizes are distributed randomly throughout the year and any bet of $0.2 or more give you a chance to win some of the prize pool which will be credited instantly to your balance.

For me, it's too late... the promo started a long time ago and I don't see any point in joining in now. You are right that this is not a tournament promotion, there are no leaderboards, drops & win competitions are different. I participated in many similar ones, and I never had luck to win anything.

...

Because it is global promotion where anyone in this world who play the selected games are eligible to win so the chance is quite low and with the "random" thing, it makes you harder to be one of the lucky winners. We will never know if the total prize pool as advertised is being distributed all during the promo period or not because it is something that can be checked/verified. Although the promotion comes from reputable/popular provider, I have always doubt for something like this. That's why I never tried to participate in global promotion although the requirement is easy.

Well, it's global and I know that chances for any kind of win are quite low, but I had pretty decent wagering and playing and I never won anything.
Promotions come from reputable and popular providers, but there is zero transparency about all of that. We never know who won what and for what reason... Over the years I tried many of them, but recently I doubted that "process", and I will probably skip them.

My experience with these long-term promotions is generally bad. It's not just that I didn't win anything, I never knew what was really happening... I was playing, and I was getting some points, but there was no leaderboard anywhere, and I never knew where I was... So even though I love Playson slots, I will definitely not join this one.

All your promotions come late…why? This promotion started on July 1st, which was almost 8 months ago. And is there a point in joining now? It's hard to compete with others when we start playing at the same time, but with 8 8-month delay, we who start now have no chance... sad truth.
