NewPac can run 100gh pretty easily. Still though unless you have a hub or two full of these I would solo mine. Or set up one mining to your own validating node is fun project.

Sort of. Even though the NewPac is 10's of k times faster than any GPU rig it is still pretty slow compared to any full scale miner.

I have no idea how long would it take for a stick of those to reach 5460 satoshis. Doesn't this cause the same problem as the GPU miners?
Tried a mining calculator, and since its supposed to be a 22.8GH Asic, it should take two months to reach the minimum...

This is offtopic, but please keep in mind that the USB stick NewPac will gather only dust while mining on a regular pool.
Sticks are more commonly used for solo mining as a so called 'lottery ticket'.

Now first to me I'm new here and get my first GekkoScience NewPac tomorrow and want to run it in the ckpool. CGminer is set up so that I only have to wait for the postman. I hope I can learn a lot here and maybe there will be more NewPac.

So  did you take 24 screen shots a day one on every hour  to show his mining stats ?  if not it is not much  info to go on.

the pool takes a 5n average.

so  if he mines 200 ph for 1 of every 24 hours  and 1 ph for 23 of every 24 hours  he has  223/24 = 9.2 ph average.

and we are not mining here at the moment.

but we get credit for 5n  which is about  7 or 8 months.   as it takes 7 or 8 months  to get up to 5n  when you are at 7ph

So I will slowly drop to zero from 0.0153

the pool does not work like that.

it takes my 7ph and spreads it out over 5n  which is much more like 10 or 20 th  worth of hash not 7 ph worth.

Um, no. We should be finding one every 2 months...

You'll know if the pool solved one because you'll see a post from CK with the block find and payouts, and about 8 others
celebrating the find.  And yes, with the current pool hash rate, we should be finding 1-2 a month, more if we are more lucky!
