Claymore, what would it take to get support for Bipcoin (BIP) addresses?

USB 3.0 PCIe 1 to 3 Converter Card
None of my GPU cards will fit into it due to the 1x slot's back end stopper, so may it be cut out so the 16x card will fit into the slot?

What 3-to-1 PCI multi-plex card do you use citronick ?Smiley

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/PCI-e-Express-1X-to-3-Port-1X-Switch-Multiplier-HUB-Riser-Card-USB-Cable-Drop/32688639286.html

Windows can go up to 7 x GPUs, Linux can go up to 8 x GPUs. Can go higher with registry hacks and drivers, I was told.

This is on my test rig - I don't think I will use this for production use because you can only use low power GPUs like 370s if you want to setup multi-GPU rig and you have to use a big PSU.
On of my friends use server psu to power GPUs.. 2000 or 2500W it has Wink
USB 3.0 PCIe 1 to 3 Converter Card little cheaper is here: https://www.fasttech.com/products/1/10021847/4736200-usb-3-0-pcie-1-to-3-converter-card

Which motherboard and CPU will you use for 8 cards?
i know for 7 but didn't find any possibilities for 8+
Any, plus
http://cyclone.com/products/expansion_systems/600-2710.php
($3600 internals; $4600 complete case+pws) plus
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CEKN5VO/

What is a good 7 GPU motherboard?  And case with enough space for air intake between the graphics cards?
very nice! i love that 4-5U expansion case! but 3600+ $ US is so expensive.

a motherboard I got but wasn't aware of a detail which makes my solution not viable for now, is the msi krait gaming 3x z170a board. it's got 3 x16/x8 slots with 4 x1. the problem at the moment are the skylake cpus, they only have 16 pcie lanes. so hopefully intel releases better skylake processor. All that to say only 4 RX 480 works on my current board, when i add a 5th i get an error message stating there isn't enough free resources code 12.

otherwise i would suggest the Asus X99-E WS/USB 3.1 , it's got 7 x16/x8 slots. I'm looking at this one, because i got some Xeon processors at home.
and i use pcie risers with usb3 cables

The 7 PCIE slot motherboard are the high end ones. They are much more expensive. Not worth the mining.

I have one rig that has 7 x R7-370s, using standard H81 BTC Pro mobo and 3-to-1 PCI multi-plex card.

It started as an experiment but I ended up keeping it as a one of my test systems for EthOS and also Claymore.

R7-370 runs only about 14.5Mhs per card and its not a fast card, however its very cool and not power hungry. So this is good card for this rig. In order to use higher end cards for 7/8 GPU rig, prepare to tinker on multi PSU setups.

In conclusion, I will never do multi GPU rig like this again because, it requires expensive 1600w PSU, larger than usual open cage rig, plenty of USB risers and many hours of tickering, only Linux/Ubuntu can drive more than 8 x GPUs - higher learning curve because you need to install AMD drivers separately in Ubuntu 16.04, for Windows... I think limited to 7-8 or more GPUs and requires special hacks.

To consider a 8 or more x PCI slot mobo and PCI expansion sub-board; similar to deep learning multi GPU computers... for mining, its not worth it - it will be too expensive.

Could we get a updated Linux version? XMR has gone up, and some of us would like to switch our farms to XMR at the moment. Ideally a 15.12 version?

(I think you said to use max 14.7 but here's my report anyways for 15.x);
The 9.1 version has issues with some GPUs, i have my 290/390, my 380 and some random 280x get lowdifficultyshare errors for 100% of their hash. I tried the -a 3 option, it doesnt fix it.

Cheers.

Same here, at least for  some rigs of three people, willing to start mining XMR, with Linux and...cuda, so Nvidea, thinking GTX1080..

How can I fix the error stated above?

even at stock same score or so .

you claim that hynix memory get 810 score :/

Yes I get 810h/s on 290x hynix in Windows 7 and Catalyst 15.12.
