So the miner was seemingly stable for me, but I have yet to have it up for more than 12 hours without the miner stopping and rendering the computer completely unresponsive until a reboot.

It also goes offline from my VNC service.

Sometimes it works fine for up to 16 hours, sometimes it crashes after just a few minutes.

I'm on win 7, got 13.12 drivers, 16GB virtual memory, GPU MAX ALLOC 100 just as previously suggested.

I'm using 3x Gigabyte 290 reference cards with Elpida memories.

Excerpt from the logfile after computer gets unresponsive and miner stops sending shares:

I have the same problem. What is this?

Have you tried another pool? I have had great luck at extremehash.

I am seeing a slight drop in hashrate from 3.0 to 3.2, anyone else seeing this?

3.0  472-476
3.2  456-460

Is this because of the power enhancements made in 3.1?

So, will the FCN MM ports on minergate work with 3.2 fine? Or is even MM working with this new miner version?

Solve my issue with making sure the -u was needed to put the email account for minergate in the bat file. Thanks for the no help crypto world.... Tongue

On to a new issue: My 7970 isn't doing 450 h/s, but 370 h/s. I did gpu allocate at 100%. What settings are optimal to run is close to 450 h/s?
sure mm ports work, but you cant withdraw your coins...
i did a test, and first withdraw was in wallet in seconds, now they wont let me withdraw anymore.
plz be aware when mining at minergate...

I can withdraw FCN and XDN fine, but not XMR/MRO. I'll test throughout the day and see what happens.

So far, there a lot of negative comments/experience from others also. Always a risk with new pools that aren't completely established yet.

- Sources: my miners are closed sources, I don't open sources.

The cryptocurrency community was founded and is based around open-source software. That is a principle I firmly believe in.

I also do not believe you should do something for nothing.

HOWEVER, looking at the dev fees, and the amount of traffic on each cryptonight algo... I would assume that the large population of those mining are now using your miner... which means... you are making a killing.

I can't blame you for doing this... however, I do not see the point other than pure greed as to why you would continue to charge a 5% dev fee, when it is widely known that there are quite a few devs working on the OPEN-SOURCE gpu miners (cbuchner1 has one, albeit his own private stash... cuda only kids). There are many working on the AMD open source miner.

All I'm saying is... you catch more flies with honey, than you do with vinegar.

I don't expect you to do something for free, I wouldn't... but at the same time... don't be greedy. If you're going to charge a dev-fee... you might as well give us the version you're using that is all tweaked out and kicks out a shit-ton of hashes. Everyone knows devs keep the best for themselves, but it makes more sense for a dev who charges a fee with his software to give everyone the best, because that means he's getting more of a return when the dev-fee mining kicks in.
ATM this is the Only gpu-miner.
Yes, auhtor of cudaminer has one... but he is not sharing atm. So its your choice...

Greed makes people do unethical things at times. Open source is the ideal concept, but there a few that don't believe in it, same as the concept of decentralization.

Personally I would feel 2%~3% fee would be more acceptable, as this miner isn't exactly close to the hypothetical hast rates and has too many stales shares at times.

Are there any performance gains between version 3.1 and 3.2 ?

ducknote and quazar coin can be withdrawal to wallet , but they dont come from wallet to Bittrex
you cannot withdrawal monero
only fantom coin goes to market without any problem

Try set to 92-95

Ok, I'll try those range of settings.

I know about withdrawing to the wallet, then withdraw from wallet to exchanges.

Thanks for the help, appreciate it.

On multiple computers the exe for this has apparently been deleted..  WTF?  Does it self delete?  It seems odd that I'd have some malware that would do this on multiple machines
If you have Kaspersky, or Malwarebytes, up to execute bat file Kaspersky will delete miner.exe file.
That is something Claymore must find solution because it is to boring to pause Kaspersky any time you need to exe Claymore miner

Getting cleaned by anti-virus maybe?  Mining software is often flagged by AV as possibly malicious.

I'm just wondering... for you folks getting low hashes for 280X, what is reported in GPU-Z for your engine and memclock?

My 280X Vapor-X cards are running at 1020 core / 1500 mem and getting 360 hashes/s
