Wolf0 congrats, people says your miner is faster than Claymore!

Meh, it is in some cases, but only a bit. If I wanted to have a contest, I wouldn't hand the competitor my entry, duh. Tongue
Are you share your miner version?

Wolf0 congrats, people says your miner is faster than Claymore!

The issue I have is I use Claymore's miner a lot more...
Yours just is like linux in console mode, compared to the autodetect-autotune feature of claymore.

It takes me forever to configure my rigs so I use user-friendly miner only
Yet I wish there was an easy way to configure sgminer and cgminer for mining with default fastest speed.

- added shares validation on CPU and statistics for incorrect shares.

this way when gpu finds a result, before sending to the pool, it's validated on the cpu ?

definitely not working with r9 380 2G

with default setting  it tries to use 4 giga memory

when disabling double memory it still not able to allocate the memory
when using -h 832 it s start but speed it 40% slower than V 9.7

i have a  better hash than sgminer only on tongas.
Polaris still hashing more on sgminer for me.
Well. it seems you have some special sgminer version or some special sort of settings/memory timings.
I'm getting 930h/s now Sapphire Nitro+ 480 8gb samsung ubermix 3.1 1170gpu/2080mem

It scales perfectly with gpu clock but I don't want to go above from my 900mV downvolt

Nice speed.
Anyone tried to mine with latest miner on 580 Sapphire, 570 MSI and 470 MSI cards. What are speeds with the latest miner?

Thanks Claymore!

Anyone have any reports/best configs on 270s (gigabyte OCs) or Rx560s (Sapphire OC Hynix memory?)

280x same as 9.7. No way to use more then 1747MB (-h 832) memory.. going slower if more.

GPU 2, GpuMiner dk2an0 failed -4

Managed to get rid of it setting the virtual memory to... 50 GB ?!?!?!?!  Huh Huh Huh

What the hell are you doing with 50Gb ? Opening a a porn site ? Grin Grin Grin

Some features still don't work and crashes the rig (GPU clock and setting the -h value).

Nice speed increase 10-20% Smiley

The same amount of memory that is allocated in the gpu memory and used for computations must be duplicated in virtual memory.
So for multi-gpu rigs it is huge.
-h option works well, check what you are doing ...

Around 52 Gb then..  Got it.

-h option is not working on my rigs. Tried 992 and 1000 on two of them.
Checked again.
It apeares that the rig didn't crash after all but it slowed down 99.9% and there wasn't anything moving. Minutes later one line with the temperature appeared on the miner window.

There are no other parameters. Just the pool address, the user, the password and the -h 992. So I could not be doing anything wrong.

Hi!

My hashrate drops from 821 (9.7) to 716 (10.2) on a RX 480 with ubermix 3.1... Any suggestions? I did not change anything ...

Update: It seems to raise to 725 after a while with an extremly low power consumption! About 70W instead of 90 before... The reason might be, that the 1 minute average does not exceed 506...

Next Update: Solution found: added -h 896 and now i am back to 821. Miner used -h 900 if nothing was added. Power consumption is still lower than with 9.7.

So what's the verdict? it seems that sgMiner is a better choice currently. Grin merge mining is still not possible... Cool

Works fine for me
