GPU 2, GpuMiner dk2an0 failed -4

Managed to get rid of it setting the virtual memory to... 50 GB ?!?!?!?!  Huh Huh Huh

What the hell are you doing with 50Gb ? Opening a a porn site ? Grin Grin Grin

Some features still don't work and crashes the rig (GPU clock and setting the -h value).

Nice speed increase 10-20% Smiley

The same amount of memory that is allocated in the gpu memory and used for computations must be duplicated in virtual memory.
So for multi-gpu rigs it is huge.
-h option works well, check what you are doing ...

Some card like 460 can use lower h with double mem, getting the same or higher hashrate with default h.
My 460 set h=512 with double memory, 339h/s, 2150MB. Default is 330, 3750MB.
At the same clock.

In general, there are no significant improvements, as it was with LBRY.
I'm staying on ETH + LBRY
Sorry, very sorry, hoping for the best

I have Asus Rx 480 4GB and may be I made something stupid, but I have the same speed like Claymore's 9.7 - card speed is 750...
I used 9.7 with - -cclock 1160 -mclock 2020 -h 1120.
Max speed with a 10 is with default - -dmem 1 and -h 900
What I need to change, pls?

Try it a first without optimization.
My 480s get -h 1800.
Claymore configure the GPUs better then sgminer.
It's 4Gb video memory and -h 1800 - too much for 4Gb cards with -dmem 1

@Claymore
Very good work @RX480 Red devils, boost from 800 to 900 H/s

@all
But i have problems with Sapphire RX570 Nitro+ 4GB with Elpida/Hynix Ram.
Flashed Anoraks memshift 1750 bios, but only about 650 H/s (no change to sgminer 5.5.5)

MSI Radeon 380 is lower than Claymore 9.7. (Statement in 10.1 is changed.)
Same settings on 17.8.2.
Has anybody the same problems and a solution?

Yes, there are interesting things there.
I move my Hawaii and low-latency Polaris cards (rx480 with samsung uber-mix and rx470 4 gb hynix with very tight timings) to claymore's 10.1
But my rx480 8gb Micron with high 2100 memclock but high-latency timings are doing better with xmr-stak-amd (two very high intensity threads)
Also my Vegas are with xmr-stak-amd with 1970 vs. 1620 claymore's.

- reduced devfee, it's 1% now if you use secure SSL/TLS connection, 1.5% for unsecure connection.

Explain please.
Depends on pool?
Or some settings?

Your pool should have a SSL port, some are 6666. Look on their site for that and use it to save .5%

Did not find it on suprnova and ethermine.

The only problem with r7 370

!!!! New problem!!!!!

I started getting the following message

XMR: 09/30/17-11:51:52 - SHARE FOUND - (GPU 4)

video cards have 4 GB of memory

if I set set GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR=1 miner sees 4 GB of memory? if GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR=0 - 3 Gb

^ i meant what settings?
-h ?
-dmem ?

core/mem freq ?
-a 1
-h 896
core 1120
mem 1625

-----------edit
-dmem default

Thank you!
Probably that's it, i figured 896 is the optimal hashcnt for those cards, but my core freq is much lower (900) lol.
I get ~630 with 900/1580
View thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/24-mh-r9-380-looking-for-tonga-power-control-1619118. This will help you to reduce energy consumption and raise the frequency of core and memory.
Good luck

no need for this, got everything set up already, made a custom strap and bios mods.
Just forgot im running core low because i mined eth before lol.
Thank you for your time mate Smiley
