12 days and 50+ pages latter: no luck yet finding any decent blake2s pool.
Unimining was good only day one after v11 release. Antmine also, maybe 2 days.
All others not even worth mentioning.

Pools to avoid:

zpool.ca
unimining.net
antminepool.com
yiimp.eu
xvg.ehu.bg
pool.gigarho.com
nlpool.nl
oxo.rs
coinfoundry.org
zergpool.com

Stop wasting your power and GPUs. Stop feeding amateurs and thieves.
Unfortunately "-mode 1"  is only smart option for now.

Anyone tried

https://www.sureblock.online/
https://korepool.com/

The are for XSH only. Both are empty at the moment so might take a while to get a return.

Agree, i'll also stop the xvg too, it seems to be a mafia. The only pool i've tested and didn't stealed me was NLpool but 1 day later it was unusable. It does gpus stressing a lot for a few bucks.

Let me tell you that the amount of work to make a stable pool is beyond imagination. In the last few days we invested a huge amount of money to get enough hardware and also a huge amount of effort to get the pool stable. I think this goes for most of the pools at the moment.

It is not that you just push a button and it works magically, but it takes hours of debugging, looking in logs and sleepless nights with crashes etc.

So, i will tell you guys just as it is. For now NLpool is stable since about 16.00 Amsterdam time. If you want, you can use it ... and we don't steal.

Thanks for the effort of making the pool stable. But how do you explain my vanished XVG from the pool's wallet? it's not on my desktop wallet too... And please create a nlpool.nl topic on the forum and start forwarding people...

We are sure it is not easy and cheap! And for stealing, no one can be sure, but the fact is that you pay the most. Good luck

I for one appreciate the time, effort and expense you guys have gone to in order to create and maintain a stable pool.

You didn't mention all of the other sites sending you 'gift packages' in the form of DOS or DDOS.  It's bound to be fun.

Just replace the Claymore miner with a new copy of it.  It was a Windows Defender attack that disabled the Claymore miner.  If you are not going to dual mine, use the 10.6 version of the miner since it does not seem to be recognized as a virus when you download it.

windows defender spotted goddam trojans and malware in your Zip File!
winbit coin trojans!!!

I had this or something similar but the system did find one (trojan) but cant find the log to see which one it was. on Sunday around 6pm est. I restarted computer and the command prompt box flashes once when I start the miner.bat file (that's what I names it) and wont restart.

(My miners been running months without an issue, just to note)

Today I am going to trouble shot what I find out here. I removed/reinstalled driver (block-chain-AMD), removed the claymore software, ran two virus checkers, reinstalled claymore from clean flash drive & I had win defender off while I installed fresh programs.

One thing I did notice in the event viewer was a lot of logins & disconnect type 3,7, maybe a hack attempt ? not sure what to look for but that's what it looks like.

My other miner is still online.
I will try that. When you say a windows defender attack, you mean like a hacker because I can create an exception for the whole folder.

My GPUs don't seem any different as long as I tune "-dcri xx" properly.  I have the same temps, same fan %s, etc

I think nlpool.nl is not one of the crooks, but it's easy to group them into the stack of people using "YIIMP"/"YAAMP".  TBH, I haven't tried any others beyond antminepool and it seems to be missing about 20% of what I should be getting.

Now nlpool.nl has problems with stability, no question there, but they are working on it.  My suggestion would be to add a second server dedicated to XVG with blake2s algo and perhaps or at least add an alternate port for balancing the load.  The problem is that unless they have two distinct IPs it's probably already at capacity.

For each of my 580rx's armor 8gb the dual mining was 35w more and around 5 to 10° celsius more, so 20% more fan speed to get same temp than before.

I use -ethi 16 and -dcri 50

Getting this error while running version 10.6 and can't figure out how to stop it:

03:36:40:155   1200   GPU 0 temp = 69, old fan speed = 50, new fan speed = 40

03:36:40:171   1200   GPU 1 temp = 68, old fan speed = 49, new fan speed = 40

03:36:40:186   1200   GPU 2 temp = 68, old fan speed = 55, new fan speed = 40

03:36:40:233   1200   GPU 3 temp = 72, old fan speed = 69, new fan speed = 58

03:36:40:249   1200   GPU 4 temp = 74, old fan speed = 63, new fan speed = 53

03:36:40:280   1200   GPU 5: got incorrect temperature 511, ignore
03:36:40:280   1200   GPU 6: got incorrect temperature 511, ignore

It shuts the miner down.  I am running 7 Sapphire rx 480 8g cards with Windows 10, and I have not figured out what to do to get rid of it.  May be the result of using a pcie splitter on the 6th slot, but I have 40 other machines just like it and none of them are doing it.  Please share any experiences you have with this to give me some ideas.  I have reinstalled the drivers 3 times (August 234d blockchain drivers) flashed the video cards' bios back to the original, and removed all control parameters from the miner.  Looking for the "what else" I can try.  Thanks.

Great idea, thanks for the input, I will try that today.

I had the same error on one rig. Turned out it has burned my SATA cable in PSU connector. This SATA was powering two risers, thats why 2 GPUs were affected.
After I replaced SATA cable it started working again, but it got burned again after a week, so I replaced the whole PSU - now its OK for 2 months.

I'm with antminepool and i lose ~20% of my supposed-to-be earnings.

I guess that's the least coins being robbed among other pools?

You have to be wise here to choose which one is the lesser evil if you want to continue dual-mining XVG.

I have a rig with 4 RX 570 and 4 RX 550 for " filling the slot and the power supply"

There is a way to run Claymore only on the 4 RX 570 and I will find something else (cryptonight) for the 550 ?

I was unable to find a set  a -DCR that didn't block the 550 and let the 570 work

Or Can I run two istances of claymore ?

I was mine PASC few days a go, not that also forgot. One rig I use ETC and XVG, and on Second MUSIC and XVG.
XVG have big problems with pools, so for Now Antimepool I am using, but it seems less profit for at least 30-50%

Yup, I've been dual mining XVG on Antminepool the past 24 hours and my earnings are about 40% lower than what whattomine is calculating. For comparison, ETH earnings are within 2% of the whattomine numbers. Are there any decent pools which don't steal or should I just go back to mining only ETH for the time being?
