Claymore,

is v 10.2 having issues with afterburner 4.4.2? I always get temperature control thread hangs, restarting miner. this issue does not happen when using afterburner 4.4.0. did you fix in v 10.3? I am also using blockchain drivers

had the same issue, reinstalled afterburner and problem stopped. But only had this issue on my AMD cards.

Anyone have any idea if the latest driver from AMD can be used?: Adrenalin Edition 17.12.2 Optional

anyone have temp and fan working in claymore 10.3?

i'm on AMD v 17.12.2, it's currently not showing anything.

If nothing is showing up thats driver issues.
I had the same issue and reinstalled my AMD drivers and afterburner after and they came back.

hi, By reinstalling do you mean remove complete including old config files and then do a fresh install? I am using blockchain drivers.

Make sure your reboot.bat file has the Windows reboot command in it.

shutdown /r /t 5 /f

Already had a reboot file but excecuted by windows each day but only with the /r.
My file looks like this now :
Quote
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1-etc.ethermine.org:4444 -r 1 -ewal 0xbXXXXXXXXXXXX.MYCOMP -epsw x -ttli 85

If you have any other recommandation.  Cheesy

The setx only needs to be run one time. They are static environment variables that survive reboots, updates, etc. No reason to have them in your start file once they are set.

add -r and then add a reboot.bat file.  It will auto restart if failed card.

Thanks dude, didn't see there was a -r 1 to do this.
Have a good weekend.

Hey, I'm using claymore on win10 since few month and I notice sometime it stop detecting one of the GPU.
Do you know if there is a way to catch the number of GPU detected in order to restart computer ?
Restarting computer always fixed the problem.

Thanks in advance.

@Claymore

feature request:  Can you add BlakeR8 support and switching of -dcoin after miner starts

How does the temperature management works?

I uploaded a small fix to v10.3, so re-download v10.3 if you have one AMD card and miner does not show its temperature.
After start and press button 's' i get messages:
Temperature control thread hangs, need to restart miner!

Has anyone noticed that etherman loses settings? Undecided

@equasar
High 30's, which isn't worth it.

Mine CryptoNight coins instead, those work really well on Vega cards.

Hello,

I'm totally new to this but I've been searching for hours and cant find adequate info to get this miner to work.
I have only changed the batch file.

Try to change pools, check your clocks, I wonder why your Fans is 0%, try to play with your clocks in Afterburner

see this thread for 1060 users for their core clock speed configurations

Hello,

I have been using this miner and it has been working good for ETH only mode. Today I tried to use it to mine ETH+SIA and it works randomly. I am using nanopool and ethermine.org and all the time I am mining some of my machines show offline are report half the hash rate then it's actually doing. I thought it might be an issue with nanopool, but I looked at my ethermine page and 2 of 3 of my workers are offline and one is only using half of it's hashing power. Also 2 of my workers show offline on nanopool and then they will randomly show back online again. Also when i look at the cmd window the miner shows like it's working fine 60 MH/s on the window, but ethermine is reporting 30.

have have 3 pc's running 1070ti one of the PCs has two cards in it.

Thanks for the help,

Hi

Do you know if dual mining will continue to be profitable after the exit of these machines?

https://itopshop.net/collections/miners/products/group-buy_-baikal-giant-b-blake256r14-blake256r8-blake2b-lbry-pascal-160g-410w-for-blake256r14?variant=775474774035

I really have no idea how it would affect the dual mining

regards

Those machines will destroy difficulty, by destroying i mean make it climb like crazy and thus cutting down profit for regular GPU mining.
