any one got any stats for R9 380 would be greatfull

270x does ~150 with a bit of underclocking applied.

280/380 should be in the 200-240 range depending on power limit

it says its recognized as 285/380 28 compute cores im getting 181 stable overclocked gpu 1120 mem 1600 power is at + 8% in wattman 16.12.1
am i doing something wrong. And if use the 15.12 it just crashes so am i thinking i got a problem with my card and thanks for the info

I'm mining on a Windows Server 2012 (I know...I know).

In any case, I have 2x 7970's but the miner is recognizing it as AMD 280X ... Is there a command switch to set it to 7970?

Thanks

They are the same chip set. Not really any difference with the two. I have both running together in a few old 6 card rigs using simplemining o/s with claymore 9.3 and have no issues.
Great cards seeing they were soo cheap second hand before zcash 😁 at one stage I was getting them for less than $50 Aussie dollars a card.

okay so we can use Nvidia cards aswell right?

No, the miner is called "Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner" for a reason.

If you want to mine using Nvidia cards, you need other miners.

What drivers have people found to be best (performance wise) for 480's and old Tahiti's? (separate rigs) My drivers auto updated because I forgot to turn that off. I'm on the latest with no stability issues atm.

16.9.2 or 16.10.1 both work well with my RX 470 - probably any of the 16.9.x or 16.10.x versions would work equally well, but I prefer to go with 16.10.1 for WQHL cert.

15.12 is still THE "go-to" for pre-RX series cards, though I noted in my limited testing that 16.10.1 didn't run noticeably slower on the R9 2xx series cards I tried it on.

16.12.1 is definite junk - 5-10% lower hashrate on EVERYTHING I tried it on vs. 16.10.1 or 15.12 as applicable.

THANKYOU!  I read for about 10 pages, and found nothing and gave up and decided to ask. Cheesy

390 the new version will catch up in speed 1070?
May be  Cheesy:

What miner you use?

damn, nice hashrate. my 1070 cards run about 380H/s on the eqm 1.0.3 miner (1.0.4 promises a small bump). Thats at 65% powerlimit though, so i suppose 420 at 100% and 465 at 122% is possible. however, better to cut down power use by 40% in exchange for only ~20% of the hashrate

Feel the difference
Your calculation is wrong for me. You can not compare the power limit for various manufacturers of graphics cards. You can not compare the power limit of different models of the same manufacturer. Your 55% MSI 1070 power limit is not equal to 55% of my power limit for nVIDIA EVGA FTW 1070. My 55% power limit for nVIDIA EVGA FTW 1070 is not the same as my 55% power limit for nVIDIA 1070 EVGA ACX 3.0 SC . The actual and objective consumption electricity is measured with an instrument which called "energy meter". My EVGA FTW  nVIDIA 1070 on 100% power limit consumes 50 W more than EVGA NVIDIA 1070 SC ACX 3.0 on 100% power limit. Also, you pay one price of electricity and I pay another. Measure your consumption of MSI in 1070 with the energy meter so you know. Then measure the consumption on other models nVIDIA 1070 and you will see that the power limit of different models of graphics cards can not be compared. My electricity price is extremely cheap and for me it is always better to get the maximum from graphics cards. The difference should feel you  and not I.

For me, the electricity prices are low and I not take care of consumption. Also, the room is very cold so the temperature graphics card only 47 degrees Celsius (with fan speed of only 1069). Also, in that the "freezer" I sleep . Grin

Up to 300% + 200 FS deposit bonuses
The difficulty for ZEC seems the same as before even with the faster 1070/1080 miners.

Proof that the Nvidia 1070/1080 probably account for 5% or less of the entire network GPU hashrates.

I think most GPUs mining right now are the 7970/280x/290/390/470/480 those probably account for 95% of the network hashrates.

You should upgrade your miner, there was like 4 new version since 1.0.3 (about 10% more speed at least since), i do 420h/s with 1.0.4c @60% tdp.
