Thanks for the reply, but no luck.  I tried adding both set and setx, all it does is double the number of unknown options  eg.

UNKNOWN OPTION setx
UNKNOWN OPTION GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR=0

etc

any other ideas?

How much speed could I get with 1070 Gainward Phoenix with the latest miner? Power consumption?

In your batch file you need to change the first bit to:


without the 'setx' the batch file tries to run GPU_FORCE.... as the starting command.

 GTX 1080ti is a good card on a hash/watt basis for ETH, but it is not good on a hash/$ basis.

 Prior to the release of the Vega line, the 1080ti was the highest hashrate card you could mine ETH on with only a single GPU on it - and it's almost a match for the Vega64 on hashrate at MUCH lower power usage and similar cost.

 1080ti is definitely better off on ZEC ZEN and related coins though, among other options.

no, ZEC and ZEN are both equilhash algo coins, so you can't mine it in dual mode. And even if you start 2 miners to mine both coins your hashrate will be divide aprox. 50/50.

For the RX 580, it should be around 300H/s. You are not far off.

What kind of hashrate are people getting out of the Sapphire RX 580 Nitro+ 4GB and 8GB?  Anyone have a good bios?  I can't seem to get more than about 285. Thought they would be more than that.

That is right. The bottle neck of the ZEC mining is both the core and memory.

 They use the SAME algorithm, that stresses the SAME parts of the card.

 The point to Dual Mining is one algo will be MEMORY heavy (ETH) the other will be CORE heavy thus allowing more full usage of the ENTIRE card.

try this:

got this to work forgot to use setx before but can't get it to load to pool and mine i just get

Have you tried running mining software in administrator mode? You can try right click and select Run As Administrator for console host application.

anyone got luck with rx 550  mining on this.
